Tool box + variables to write mails
When writing an email from the inbox, I miss having a tool box where I can add our signature + logo, or simply put characters in bold, italic, underline... add a link, etc. It would be great also to be able to add variable that automatically translates into the related data within the mail body.
We have tool box (not consistently I've seen) when creating or editing a template, so why not when writing from the inbox?1 vote -
Make message threads with owner searchable in Inbox
As a VRM I would like to search for threads between the agency and the owner so that I can respond to the thread.
Right now, I can’t find the Inbox thread with my owners in PMP, even though the thread is visible from the owner portal.

Inbox default to show all messages, not just relevant ones
I think either changing the default of the inbox view to "all" under that status, or giving the user the option to create their own default view would be helpful not to miss past guests or other messages because the system deems what is "relevant" and to change it is a manual process each time.

Show more details for Airbnb inquiry in Hostfully Inbox
As a PM, I’d find it helpful to have more details (listing, booking, …) to Airbnb inquiry. At the moment, it just shows up in Inbox with no further details, and can be tricky to get the full context for a proper response.

Inbox Replies from Guests should only include their reply.
Inbox Replies from Guests should ONLY include their reply, and not have the entire message I sent them tacked onto it. I already know what I sent them, as it's right below their reply. Don't need to have what I sent them included in their reply. It is redundant and messy.

Create a trigger based on incoming guest messages containing certain words or phrases
For example, if an incoming message from a guest uses the word "internet", autoreply "Here is a link to the internet page of our guidebook, that should provide some helpful information. If that doesn't help, someone will respond here as soon as they're able."

Open message thread in new window
From the various lead views, we can view the message thread, but there is no way to open this in a new window.
the standard convention is "control-click" on a button will open in a new window but this doesn't work witht he UI widgets employed.
It's very annoying to have to go to the inbox view then click the browser back button to get back to the calendar or dashboard or pipeline view and then wait for those screens to refresh again.

Allow Custom Data fields to be used in email subject lines
Even though you can use custom data fields in the email body, it appears that you cannot use them i the subject line. This seems like an oversight.

Add notes/comments section on the sidebar for each guest on the inbox
There's a lot of empty space in the inbox' sidebar. Having notes displayed in this section could be quite useful to keep track of ongoing work for an specific reservation and coordinating efforts in our team.

Default messaging channel to how a guest initiated communication
Currently, when a guest sends a message via SMS, you can respond, but have to change the default to SMS from email. The default is always email for direct bookings. It would be nice to have the default be however the guest initiated conversing.

Guest email addresses in emails
With the new inbox we are getting replies from guests coming to our actual email account (ie: gmail or google) which is great as we were missing guests replies when they were coming into the inbox. However if I wish to reply to the guest from my email account not the inbox their address is not their just platform@hostfully. Is there any way to have their actual email address added as well (for non Airbnb guests - as I understand Airbnb have dedicated emails)

I think in order to not miss messages from past guests, the default on the inbox screen should be to "all" or at least an option to choose our own default view, so if you want to see "all" it isn't a manual process.

Ability to RECEIVE AND VIEW attachments that are received via email replies from VRBO guests
At the moment when a vrbo guest hits reply to any of my email messages sent through Hostfully and they attach images eg. of their driver's licence to send to me it is auto-filtered out and I can't see them. Then I have to ask them to compose a new email and resend which is a waste of time. If they try to upload their ID via the arrival form it only allows one upload so I usually only get the front or back and again have to ask them to send via email separately or to my phone. Would…

Add which agent sent a message to the guest
Under each agent message it shows " Sent via Email April 02 2022, 10:30 am"
It would be very useful to have the agent listed here too. e.g. " Sent via Email April 02 2022, 10:30 am by <agent>"
It will make it easier to track agent responses in the booking thread

Autosave draft
As a VRM I would like Inbox to save a copy of my draft messages so that I can come back and finish the message later.
Current message disappeared if I went to check another message halfway.

Flag emails as important!
Sometimes guests do not see the emails that are sent. Would it be possible to flag messages coming from Hostfully as important to help guests see those messages?

Make it possible to forward/email responses from specific channels
Use Case
I want to receive emails for every new guest message that comes through our direct booking site, but I do not want to receive messages for Airbnb (or Vrbo, if that is ever added in the future).
