  1. On the first page for creating a reservation, the breakdown of the reservation total should appear. Having the total without the breakdown makes it look like the nightly rate is VERY high. On the next page guests can then see the breakdown but that is often too late. The button should also say “continue” not “book now”. Please make the breakdown appear on page 1!

  2. We upload high resolution images for our properties, so that any scaling that needs to be done by various platforms starts with the best possible quality.

    When the new DBS went live, it looks like it's using the full resolution. This means it's downloading dozens of 15-20MB images for each property, which is obviously very slow.

    AirBNB, as one example, rescales the listing images into webp format for listings. Not sure what other platforms do, but it would be nice to have the high resolution images in hostfully, and push those out to platforms that support it to let them…

  4. Currently, guests must put their name and email to be able to get a quote. This is prohibiting business as it is easier to go to Airbnb or VRBO to run numbers on homes...and then they may find a different home. I would love the option to be able to turn this feature off and only collect guest information when they actually book. Thank you for your consideration.

  5. It would be helpful to have a QR code to display in our homes so guests can scan and book again, directly on our website.
    I understand you have a QR code for the guidebooks, so why not for the websites?

  6. we would like is to allow hostfully to process a payment, i imagine hostfully would need to add an area to keep the gift card purchase on the booking page, rather than using square to process pymt and taking guest off the page

  7. When I direct book, I have to remember all of their info. I need there phone number, email, and name. I wish I could select a person's name and their info would auto populate.

I'd love it if you guys could team up with https://elfsight.com/all-in-one-reviews-widget/ and let them be able to use our reviews. 98% of my reviews are from Airbnb or VRBO so I don't use Hostfully's. However this link above offers a mesh set of reviews coming in from different platforms. This way I could show my direct booking reviews along with Airbnb & VRBO.   9. Airbnb now allows you to charge a pet fee as does VRBO. But the hostfully calendar widget you have for your direct booking website does not allow you to select a pet to your reservation. In the "Policies and Fees" tab in Hostfully lets you select "applies to hostfully" andbut this will AUTOMATICALLY charge the pet fee to EVERY guest. It does not let your guests select is they are bringing a pet or not. If you click "is optional" is still does not give the option for guest to pick a pet or not.

  10. We have a widget for our website so guests can put in their dates and can automatically book or get a quote. Once you put in your dates the widget calculates the total and it will say "$850 total for 4 nights" for instance. This total includes the security deposit which skus what the guest believes the nightly rate costs and other fees. I think ti would be helpful to either have the break down open up instead of just to the total. OR say the total and say + security deposit. For example "$350 total for 4 nights plus…

We often get repeat customers or customers who have cancelled and now wish to rebook.We would like to be able to Re-Book them for new dates so we don't have to re-enter their information (emails, phone numbers etc) each time. At present when you select rebook it automatically rebooks them for dates that have already past. Very frustrating

  15. Airbnb allows you set a discounted monthly rental price for anyone shopping out 30+ nights or more. This discounted price is incredibly appealing for prospective guests to consider when renting out a month or more stay.

    Currently the direct booking site only allows a view for a SUM of all nightly rates. You can imagine how large this number can appear if a guest is booking out for say, 78 nights.

  16. There's a use case where a client may want to create individual web pages for each of their locations, and would want different search widgets for each web page.

    Each search widget would only show properties for that location. This could be achieved by using "tags" within the product to group properties.

    You can already do this today by setting tags on your properties, retrieving these properties by tag via the API, and passing the property UID dynamically do the booking widget.

  18. Option to book without credit card.

    Some guests don't want to put their credit card information in advance.
    It would be nice if there is an option for guests to make a booking request without credit card information.

    => It helps property managers to get more bookings

  20. When you visit a property via the Direct website, the font is not the easiest font to read. Having a few options to change the font would be great.
