Allow Information Submitted via pre-arrival form to be used in templates
Data captured via the Pre-arrival form (such as other guests names) and other information is not be able to be used in a template.
For example, we have to add each guest over 16 to our guest list for access to the community amenities. We capture this information via the pre-arrival form. Currently I have to manually grab that information from the pre-arrival form and manually send it to the community to add them.
Ideally, since the pre-arrival form is capturing that information it would be nice to be able to use that in a email template.

Photos in messaging templates
I'd like to be able to include photos in my check-in instruction template for airbnb messages. The visual helps guests to know what to look for when arriving to a place they've never been before.
18 votesYou can copy an image from another webpage and paste it into your template. The system will know how to just copy the URL of the image behind the scene and will display it when a message is sent.

Delete scheduled message once booking is canceled
I want to have the option, if the guest cancels their booking. The associated message should stop/be deleted.

Just create a custom template with all the variables (data) you need to receive by email. Then create a Trigger of type "Complex Condition", with event condition "When Pre-Arrival Form is submitted", and associate that template to this trigger.

Guest pre-arrival form that collects phone numbers instead of email addresses in case guests have to be evacuated from a wildfire.
If a neighborhood rips through a neighborhood, making contact with a guest via email isn't an effective way to contact all guests to evacuate.

Customization of the pre-arrival form
My rental requires specific pre-arrival registration form. This includes the names of each guest and wheter or not they are under 21, and for me to collect 5 pieces of data regarding each car that will access the community
so I would like to be able to create the custom fields and then organize them in a simple table so that its a legible and usable form

I want to have the Variable to pull the VRBO listing URL into the custom template.
2 votesThere is Vrbo URL variable per say, but it is easy to define this variable using Templates and Triggers > Custom Data. Create a variable of type [$VRBO_URL$], and for each property, just add the URL of your listing for this variable. Have trigger works for Bookings made within X days prior to checkin.
I want to send my cleaner a text when a new booking is made within a week of check in . i dont want to send my cleaner a text with every new booking because she wont be happy and will miss the important texts.

Allow complex conditions for triggers relating to incoming messages. For example, messages from non-airbnb platforms trigger a SMS to the host.

Make template colors customizable
Branding is a big deal for our company and I've worked really hard to have brand consistency. Some of the pre-done templates have Hostfully's brand colors and we want to be able to change the colors to our brand.

Schedule payment reminders to the guest/host when a VRBO reservation is only partially paid
In VRBO reservations, if payment is split into two or more payments, and not all of them is paid, then need to highlight past due payments and/or send payment reminders to the guest/host. Otherwise guest may come and stay and leave without host realizing the reservation was never fully paid! After integration, VRBO doesn't send those payment reminder emails and relies on the PMS (Hostfully) to handle that.

Allow Triggers to send message to individual guest
It would be useful if a trigger option was to pick a particular guest to send a message to as apposed to all guests of a certain criteria

Being able to have a trigger condition for the stay guests to announce/remind the guest during their stay.

Ability to toggle off ALL system templates
At the moment, most of the templates are able to be disabled, but some of them are auto templates and couldn't be toggled OFF. The Pre-arrival form is one of them.
I don't want these sent to the guest.
I don't want Hostfully to automatically send ANYTHING to my guests.
1 voteThe system already allows for turning off of all sytem templates that send automatically. Those who are not selectable are NOT sent automatically but manually by the PM, like "Sending a quote" to a guest (this is done from the interface by the user). The Pre-Arrival Form is never sent automatically, unless set up through triggers by the user.

Add more functionality for triggers to apply to Owner Stays, that way we can communicate important info to the owner about their upcoming stay, remind them of the house rules, check-out time, etc. You'd think that owner's would remember all this stuff, but they don't.
