Please be aware that this is our (very first) early beta version:
  • expect a few (hopefully minor) bugs -> please mention them with the most amount of details here !
  • a reduced scope compared to the web platform -> our goal is to fulfill your most critical mobile needs
  • expect a longer loading time on your first login, then it should be faster upon your 2nd+ logins -> we are currently working on load optimization

  1. I would like to be able to edit reservations directly from the App. It is vital that the app can be used to edit reservations, edit pricing, and essentially do the majority of things that we do on the website.

  2. If you open a guest (the most common use case being that you need to contact the guest, you have to scroll down for the guest's information. I think it would be more helpful to prioritize this information, rather than having to scroll past all of the fees (which should also be minimized). Also, the phone number is not clickable, nor can you copy and paste it. Making the number clickable and copiable (not sure if that's a word), would be really useful. Otherwise, it's not very useful at all.

    This feedback applies to the Hostfully iOS app.

  3. From the calendar it would be nice to be able to click into an existing block and make changes (extend or shorten the block, delete it, or add notes).

  4. The inbox should distinguish between new (unread) and read messages (possibly in bold as is common in other inboxes such as the Airbnb inbox. Additionally a search function is required in order to search for a guests name

  5. Add filters and search to the Inbox page and narrow your list of threads

    Filters on:
    - Read / Unread
    - Status (quote, booked, stay, declined, cancelled, etc)
    - Agent
    - Channel (Hostfully, Airbnb, VRBO, etc)
    - Property
    - Guest Name/Email

  6. Inbox does not display an image sent by a guest on Airbnb channel For example, my guests send me a picture of their passport and this is not visible in Hostfully inbox on the app

  7. I still don't like using the photos as the way to identify properties in the app, and I am constantly opening that leftmost sidebar to see the property name before doing anything in the app.  I think a customizable abbreviation would be a better short form for quickly finding the right property.
