Refunds for Cancelled Airbnb bookings outside of free cancellation periods are not captured at all
Currently, when an Airbnb guest cancels their stay outside of their free cancellation period (ours is Firm), the reservation is not updated with the correct payout information. We need to capture the cancelled bookings earnings in our reports.
We tried to used the filter in reports to not screen the Cancelled Lead status. This was not a fix because in doing this the total cost of the reservation is displayed rather than the actual payout after the cancelation policy was applied, so, the total cost of the cancelled booking is included in the earnings report, obviously not good.
I also…31 votesHi everyone! Exciting news: now when an Airbnb booking gets canceled, if the guest receives a full or partial refund, that amount will be displayed in Hostfully as an order adjustment. This will make your reports more accurate.

Analytics- reporting needs to be improved to run reports based upon comparative years, months, user defined periods like quickbooks
Improve the user interface and information display as well as ability to print of all analytics data. Allow the user to choose the periods with calendar dropdown. you should be able to see year over multiple year changes.

Add Google Analytics tracker to payment confirmation page
We set up this event in Google Analytics as instructed, but it has not tracked any conversions. So I think we're still stuck. Is there anything else we can do?

Support field "Tag on Booking" in Enhanced Reporting.
The situation occurs when a booking imported from Rental United does not have a source, such as Booking.com, Agoda, etc. This also happens when there are bookings from other offline sources such as travel agency, etc. We can add tags on the lead modal but cannot pull it into Enhanced Reporting.
There are only two fields which are Guest tags and Tag (hasTag), none of them can pull the tag we add from the lead modal. It would be great if there is a field to support that so we can have more information in the report for further analysis.

Add "Yesterday" range option to schedule daily reports
I would like to be able to schedule an automated report every day for the day before as the property owner would like to see a daily report of bookings.

Having report variable for Booking Lead Time (subtracting the booked date from the check-in date)
No I am trying to see the number of days inbetween the date the reservation was booked, and the check-in date. This is called "booking window" or "lead time"
11 votesHi everyone! We're happy to inform you that a new variable for Booking Lead Time (subtracting the booked date from the check-in date) has been added to our Enhanced Reports! With this one, you can understand how far in advance your guests typically place their bookings.
You can find this new variable when editing your reports (Financial, Revenue, Booking, and Transaction Reports) > Field Category > Booking > Booking Lead Time.

Guest Information Reporting
It would be very helpful to pull in data about guests, age, origin city/country etc for marketing purposes in reporting.

- See the report in the table below, provided in multiple formats.
Note that the report will obviously only show information for guests who filled out the form. Note also, that for Airbnb bookings, not all guest information is provided by Airbnb and most cells will be empty.

Pre Arrival Form info exported to enhanced reports
Hi, you should let add info from the pre arrival forms to the enhanced reports. In my case, the Colombian government make us have a registration card for each reservation so the info I need from guests, can be add to the pre arrival form and then to the reports.

'Duplicate' button for recreating a custom report
'Duplicate' button for recreating a custom report that may need to be duplicated. This is an easier customer experience than our current process of using the URL and replacing text within that URL to duplicate a report. Some of are not tech savvy and we need to consider this when making a process for user's to follow. The current process is too development minded and it can be simpler and more customer focused.

Include date of booking on reports
Usually owners want to know how many bookings we got for upcoming months in that timeframe. It helps us with understanding booking lead time and put together a pricing strategy for next year.
1 voteWe already had the "Booked On" variable in our enhanced reports, giving you the date when the guest booked. We now have a new variable called "booking lead time" which is equal to the amount of days between the check-in date and the booking date.

Filter of the report
The first issue I have is with the date range on the owner statement report. I found out it is based on check in not check out date, which is the industry standard for property management. This needs to be fixed. When I choose 4/1 to 4/30, it should be guests that checked out between those dates. This is how the owners are paid for the month, based on check outs.

Now in Enhanced Reports, you can setup the date type filter where you can choose on what type of date you want your report to be based off: check-in date, check-out date, occupancy date, etc

On enhanced reports allow use to report blocked nights (so we can show owners)
Show blocked nights by owners and for maintenance on enhanced reports. We can then clearly see that while occupancy may be low that if the owner blocked 7 nights it shows on the report.

Enhanced Reporting - Allow filter or tags by "Channels"
I love the new enhanced reports. I created a report that would allow me to quickly build a Hotel Tax Report. We collect for VRBO and Direct bookings so we have to remit, but Airbnb and Booking.com collect and remit. Would be nice to filter those channels out of the reports. Would be helpful in other reports that are channel specific as well. Thanks!

Enhanced Reporting - Make "Last Month" a quick default
When you run a report, the quick options for dates are "Last week" or "This week". I never use those. By far the dates I'm using most frequently are for "Last Month", so I would like to see that as an option.

Add flexibilty and logic capabilities to Owner's Statements
I would like to customize my owner's statments and select how I want my commission calculated. It would be nice for property managers to apply their own logic to the report for the owner's commission column. I manually manipulate the data in excel and it would be nice to have some basic functionality in Hostfully that directly feed into the owner's statement.
For example in my agreement with my owners, the commission is calculated off the rent minus platform fees. Each PM has a different arragement with owner so we need flexiblility in these statements. I spend a lot of…

Financial Report THIS YEAR Option
I use Financial Reports Export often for what is booked this year.
The quick choices are THIS MONTH and LAST MONTH.
I use THIS YEAR a lot so have to constantly choose the dates which isn't always quick as it refreshes between each choice.
Can we have added a THIS YEAR and LAST YEAR quick option?

Do not add Tax to either Agency Due or Owner Due.
Tax Collected is not part of Agency Due nor Owner Due. It should be left separate in its column and not added to the Total. The reason is that it makes Agency Due look like more than the % in my Owner Contracts, and they do not have an accurate number when creating a 1099NEC form for my company. When added to Owner Due, I have to Adjust it out so I am not Paying Out Tax to the owner as Rent Income.
I have to create a spreadsheet that takes that Tax Amount out of either Agency or Owner…
