Would love to have the option for our guests to use the link to pay any amount like when two guests split the bill in two or more, or when they can pay a certain amount at a time, instead of the strict amount based on our reservation payment policy (50% deposit, 50% balance. That said, when we send them the payment reminder, they can use the link in there and enter "x" amount.

    Thank you for submitting this idea. We have considered this in the past but this behavior comes with complexities. The question is whether we consider a property as booked on the first split payment and block the calendar or not:

    • if we do: a guest could pay $5 on a $1000 payment and the calendar will be blocked with a payment that does not meet the reservation amount threshold (putting the PM at risk)
    • if we do not consider it as booked until the whole $1000 is received, the PM could end up with 4 payments of $200 and the property is still available. Someone else could then end en booking the property and the PM is left with having to process 4 refunds.

    So this feature is definitely interesting but requires that particular threshold rules to be defined and the system behaviour to adapt to them.

  2. We should have the ability to Schedule Deposit payments, Refunds and credit card holds are an essential part of our practice. Hopefully should also work with payment systems to negotiate a refund on the transaction fees.

  3. Make Damage/Security Deposits able to be 'PreAuthorized' and not a charge. This scares some Guests off.

    And make the timing of the PreAuthorization able to be set as to when this is taken.

  5. We would like to be able to choose Vacation Rent Payment as our payment processor so we can use different VRP accounts on the property level in Hostfully.
    Our accounting systems and processes and PMS we are transitioning from allowed us to use our multiple Vacation Rent Payment accts.
    As a PM, we would like to continue to offer this service to our owners for direct deposit into their accts.

  6. When running an owner report, the total reflects the entire cost of the reservation. When a guest stays for 2 or more months, Airbnb breaks up your payouts in 30 day increments. I would like to pay may owner's what I actually received for that month. If I pay the entire reservation and the guest cancels mid-stay, I would have to ask for money back from the owner. The Transaction History also accounts for guest resolutions. i.e. charges for damage or refunds for guest inconveniences.

If under property settings 100% of the payment is not collected at the time of reservation (i.e. certain percentage will be due x days prior to checkin), then pipeline won't show the option to "send balance payment request" until the payment due date which is x days prior to checkin date. manager should be able to send the balance payment request ahead of the due date and not wait for the payment due date to send the payment request.

  11. When adding nights to an existing stay, allow a time duration to allow them to pay or else the addition is cancelled.
    Same as the HOLD duration.

  12. Allow users to include the $ amount collected to the rental agreement, as it is sometimes necessary during legal disputes, to show that amount.
    Renaming the rental agreement to "occupancy agreement" would also be a more acurate name, since renter laws such as rent control don't apply to Short Term Rentals.
