Hi everyone,
Thank you for voting on the idea to duplicate templates and triggers. I'm excited to share that this feature is currently under development.
In the coming weeks, we’re opening a beta (early access release) to a select group of customers. If you’d like early access, just reply with “I’m in”. When it’s ready in the next few weeks, we’ll enable it on your account.
What’s included in the beta?

YES! Especially when you are creating variations for email vs channel messages this would be a time saver!

This is very important if something happens that causes an email template to render incorrectly. For example, if someone were to override the appearance of the <div> element, viewing that message breaks the entire page because it affects ALL other divs on the page. Because the message is based on the template, it's impossible to fix on my own as fixing the template doesn't fix the individual message.
Using the label "Government issued ID" might prevent confusion on what is required for this field. I see the term "Government issued ID" more often than "Government ID" for something like this.
We recently had a guest get confused because they "didn't work for the government", and didn't understand what they were supposed to do.
