  1. For instance, let's say for most of the year you have a moderate cancellation policy, but for special events it could be stricter. Last year for Coachella people booked a year before, then at the last minute found a cheaper place because people start lowering their prices when they don't book. So they would cancel before the deadline and you would have to drastically lower your prices to rebook after you held the dates for them for a year.

  2. Currently, the rate multiplier only applies to the nightly rent. I’d like the option for the multiplier to apply to all fees (such as cleaning, service, or management fees) to offset Airbnb's host service fee.

  4. Support multiple rate plans for Booking.com connection.

    We would like to set up a 60day cancellation policy for booking.com meaning that we can refund up to 60 days in advance ? It would be great to offer this along with a non refundable option if possible on booking.com.

    We also want to send the pricing rules at the bottom of the pricing tab to Booking.com

  5. Currently, cancellation policy notes must be added in shared fields like descriptions or rental conditions. It would be very helpful to have a dedicated field where users can add explanatory cancellation policy text for specific channels only, especially Vrbo, without affecting content shown on Airbnb, direct booking site, or other channels.

  8. Guests booking through Airbnb may be reluctant to complete Hostfully pre-arrival forms or rental agreements when the links direct them outside of Airbnb. Airbnb displays a warning advising guests to remain on the platform for safety, which can create distrust and lead to cancellations.

    It would be helpful to provide a way to collect required forms and agreements through Airbnb-approved workflows, or to offer clearer messaging and branding that reassures guests the external forms are legitimate and required by the host. This could help reduce guest concerns, improve completion rates, and prevent avoidable cancellations.

  12. There is a new feature on Airbnb, "Extended Cancellation Policy." It's not possible in Hostfully. However, when we set it up in Airbnb, it has been overridden by Hostfully's setup.

  13. PM feedback/request regarding Booking.com payment behavior and guest-facing charge transparency when using Hostfully as the merchant of record.

    Current pain points:

    PMS payment schedule settings (ex: “collect balance 5 days before arrival”) appear to imply they apply to Booking.com reservations as well, but Booking.com reservations may follow different payment timing/workflows.
    Guests may see messaging during checkout indicating they will not be charged until later, but then experience immediate charges/payment requests.
    Security deposit charges configured correctly in Hostfully are not clearly displayed/explained to Booking.com guests during checkout/payment flow.
    This creates guest confusion, payment disputes, and additional manual follow-up work for PMs.

  14. Either add Booking.com photo tags to the Hostfully interface, or update the integration so tags don't get removed when Hostfully syncs the listing with Booking.com.

    Right now, tags I add to my listing photos in Booking.com get removed once Hostfully syncs the listing.

  17. For Multi Unit properties, availability is calculated at the unit type level on a nightly basis, similarly to hotel inventory. This means that if there is at least 1 available unit for each individual night of the requested stay, Booking.com can consider the reservation bookable, even if the availability comes from different physical units across those nights.

    ​From the channel perspective, the stay is considered available because inventory exists for every night requested.

    Because of this setup, reservations may sometimes require manual reshuffling between units afterward in order to create continuous availability for the guest stay.

  20. Would be useful to have the ability to configure specific dates for our VRBO's mobile and member discounts.
    This is possibile within Vrbo but not while being connected with Hostfully.

    Also, VRBO confirmed this is supported by other PMS.
