Not being able to put a hold on credit cards is extremely problematic. Yesterday, we received a 1 star review. I understand our guests frustration. We ask for a security deposit, 99% of the time the deposit is returned, yet the guest pays a credit card fee for the transaction. I spoke to Stripe, Stripe offers a hold feature, but because Hostfully is our channel manager, we are unable to use. We also offer the option of purchasing insurance, legally we need to offer both.
