What’s new?
When enrolled in the beta, reservation balance payments will be automatically charged via Stripe for:
Vrbo reservations
Booking.com reservations
How the flow works
A guest books on Vrbo or Booking.com
The guest pays the deposit on the channel platform (or, in the case of a 0% deposit, provides their credit card details without an initial charge)
When the balance is due, Hostfully will automatically charge the remaining amount via Stripe
If the automatic charge fails (e.g. insufficient funds, expired card, etc.), we will fall back to the existing flow and send the usual balance due payment request to the guest
This beta covers both:
Reservations with a deposit
Reservations with a 0% deposit (card collected at booking, no initial charge)

The Rental agreement is extremely important. Currently Hostfully offers a very elementary format with only a signature. I believe this is not sufficient considering the changing regulatory requirements from cities and vacation homes are often owners most valuable asset. We need to have a document that has the ability for initialing paragraphs and attachment capabilities so the drivers licence and other documents required by cities can be within the agreement. . Currently I have to pay $4000 to use Dropboxsign to get an adequate rental contract. This is one of the most important things I feel Hostfully should provide to us.
