For all Uk and EU users of this platform this is nothing short of essential and I cant believe this hasn't been on the roadmap - the first requirement to report was jan 25 and Jan 26 is the next deadline for platform operators like us to report on ALL property owners. Without a system that can collate this information in a simple fashion it makes it a near on impossible task - I have 40 properties and growing, imagine how difficult this might be for someone who has 100+

We will have a new trigger entitled "Booking updated | date change" that will only fire if the booking has a change of check-in or checkout date. Then we'll also have the breakdown of "Booking updated | check-in date" and "Booking updated | checkout date" to dissociate between a change on check-in date vs checkout date.

Absolutely agree, a fundamental requirement of a booking system and having not long joined hostfully was surprised to find out that this isn't already SOP

Direct from HMRC this morning:
Thank you for your email.
I appreciate your new system has caused issues with regards the Digital Platform reporting, but unfortunately, there aren’t any manual ways of submitting the information to HMRC. You will need to submit an XML file containing the information.
I would advise that you review Digital platform reporting XML schema and supporting documents - GOV.UK and the OECD Schema User Guide at Model Rules for Reporting by Digital Platform Operators XML Schema: User Guide for Tax Administrations for further detail on each element. Further guidance on what needs to be reported is held here IEIM904000 - Reporting of Information - HMRC internal manual - GOV.UK
