  1. I have been using the Guidebooks for about a month now. I have three of them built and I will soon be building the 4th one. I really like having the option to print the guidebooks out for those users who are not technically inclined. I wanted to make sure I had my Guidebooks down before exploring printing them and have now finally gotten around to that part of it. I was not real thrilled with the printout. There really needs to be an option for page breaks after each card. There are two reasons for this:

  2. Often I have a guidebook setup and link of a less important card to create. This gets placed at the beginning of the list of cards and I always need to manually move it to the end (which is really hard to do on mobile, btw). These new cards should be appended to the end of a list of cards, not the beginning.

  3. I am a new user to Hostfully, and I love Guidebook so far! But, I can't help but think there is something that would be a great addition. The ability to add multiple guests at once to guidebook. This could be done by uploading a .csv file or similar that would contain the first, last names access codes, check-in and out dates... This would make personalization an absolute BREEZE rather than entering one at a time.

  4. The tools provided to format the cards are good, but if we could be allowed to embed HTML (on House Manual and Recommendation cards), it would allow so many more options.

  5. When you are looking at the Guest Terms Approval Data under Reports, it shows the data for each guest that accessed the guidebook. If you only have one guidebook thats fine, but when you have multiple guidebooks, you don't know which one the guest looked at. This is because in the Guidebook column, instead of showing the actual name that we used for the guidebook, you show the cryptic 7 character link. I can't remember which cryptic link is which guidebook. It would be so much nicer if you showed us the actual name of the guidebook that we used,…

  7. It would be great to have the option for it to say "Welcome" right next to "Arrival" so the host info and welcome note are easily visible as sometimes guest don't know to click on the left bar and a lot of time when the page first loads it errors and closes by itself.

  8. When a host deletes an item from the list of Recommendations or House Manual cards, a window pops up that says "Delete item?" Can you please add the name of the item being deleted to this pop up? So instead of just "Delete item?", have it display "Delete {name of item}?" Since there is no undo or recycle bin, it would nice to have confirmation that we are deleting the item we intended to delete.

  9. The 'Current Weather' widget is pretty nice, but it would be nice to have it in a more visible location that guests would see more often (plus, the hosts who hide the Arrival tab will not see it at all). Could you allow it to be added to other pages, or at least the pop up panel on the left?

  10. Adding the ability to create subcategories in the House Manual would help organize the cards a lot. For example, it would be nice to have a subcategory for the Kitchen since several cards will be for operating kitchen appliances - having them all in one place would be cleaner and easier to find for the guest. Having a subcategory for Bedroom, Living Room, Yard might be some other options hosts might want to create. I envision the subcategories to be near the top of the manual, similar to subfolders in a directory. I know a workaround would be to create…

  11. Currently there are 5 variables available for customizing a guidebook for each secure link (Guest Last Name, Guest First Name, Check-out Date, Check-In Date, Access Code). It would be helpful if there were some additional variables we could use (and allow us to provide the title of each field, but if not you can just name them 'Custom field 1', 'Custom field 2', etc)

  12. For the check-out information, for instance. We were able to create custom check-out items. In this case, to turn off the water. So It would be helpful to be able to create custom items as such with the checkout.

  13. id like to have the option to send past guests an opportunity to reveiw the accomodation utilising this platform on things like'

    -how they like the space
    -any improvements they could reccomend
    -what ammenties they would like if a returning customer

    maybe not these questions in particular but perhaps tabs that we could populate ourselves and determine what questions we would like to ask.

  14. My idea is to have the Hostfully guidebook view like a slideshow (or think of digital signage) on my iPad or monitors. So my thought the guidebook would have a welcome screen with the customer’s name, today’s forecast and date, then automatically flip through the other cards with videos to play on a card, restaurants, and have RSS feeds with news or links to our local updated events.

    My thought is to have the guidebook show like digital signage that you’d see in a hotel, but personalized to the guest and display on an iPad or monitor.

  16. On Airbnb for some accounts they literally walk you through check-in so each part has it's own screen with pictures for explanation. It would be nice that when they open check-in instructions that instead of scrolling up and down that it showed them one picture at a time so they have the most important info for that step when we need it. For properties where we have lockboxes guests sometimes get confused and use their door code to try to open the lockbox and then call us when they can't get it open.   18. i am subscribed to a few subscription magazines that allow digital downloads and i think it would be great to have the option to have an entertainment card that allows us to upload subscription magazines to hosfully platform as i think in this age of corona having physical magazines touched by multiple guests is not the most ideal.

  20. My carpark requires a card key to enter. Some guests use parking others don't.

    Because of this I place carpark key in a different place to pick up than my apartment key.

    At the moment if someone wants to use parking and I cannot hand the card to them personally, I need to add confidential information to my guide book such as location, lockbox numbers which are not secure if posted.

    I don't want to use the full guidebook restriction as it doesn't fit my needs.

    Love the guidebook it's an excellent tool.
