  1. Currently I can communicate with Vrbo guests via email in the Hostfully Inbox. Here's how I do that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzrIBhiitBY&t=4s.

    Also, it's great that when the guest sends me a message in a booking request through Vrbo, then that message appears in the Hostfully Lead/Stay Details.

    There are a couple of scenarios where I would appreciate a deeper integration with Vrbo's messaging. For example, if the guest sends me a message through the Vrbo guest portal, then it doesn't come into the Hostfully inbox and I can only reply through my email.   2. I'd like to integrate directly with Expedia from Hostfully to ensure my properties are listed there and not be charged commission through channel partners.

    I understand some properties are distributed to Expedia if I am connected to Vrbo, though Vrbo can't guarantee that will happen and we can't request it. I can connect to Expedia through channel management partners, but they charge an extra commission. A direct connection would guarantee I am listed on that channel and save listings expenses.

  3. As a PM, I would like the note that contains the Hostfully UID to be removed from the Airbnb calendar when the reservation/block is cancelled or removed so that the calendar on Airbnb is clear.

    From the attached screenshot, the open date has the note Block uid=…., which is confusing. It makes me think that the date is not available while it is.

  4. Please give us the ability to change the font of the messages templates. I copied and pasted my messages I had stored previously, which are not matching the writing style of the variables such as guest name, and it looks sloppy IMO. Or give us the option to match the variable styles or reset to default maybe?

  5. Inbox Replies from Guests should ONLY include their reply, and not have the entire message I sent them tacked onto it. I already know what I sent them, as it's right below their reply. Don't need to have what I sent them included in their reply. It is redundant and messy.

  6. Currently when blocks are deleted, there is no record that they ever existed.

    This presents an issue if a block is removed erroneously, there is no way to recover the block, or see when the block was removed or by whom.

    Further, for active blocks, it is not possible to see who created a block, when the block was created, or if a block has been changed.

    What I'd like to see is:

    1) Blocks display what user created them and when.
    2) Blocks include a log of changes, that include the date of the change, what the change was,…

  7. Please add a Weekend Rate Adjustment option to the Pricing Periods feature. It would be great if it could be a dollar value as well as a percentage increase. It is very time consuming to go through each pricing period adjusting the weekends. This would make using the pricing periods much more better. Thank you!

  8. I would like the landing page my guest sees after submitting the pre arrival form to be white labeled. It currently has a Hostfully logo and says "start your free Hostfully account" instead of "start your free guest account".

  9. An owners block should come over as a reservation instead of a block. You can even have custom messaging to confirm their stay or confirm cancelation of an owners block etc. This would make things more automated.

  10. We love the new Calendar.

    We find it difficult to know if all reservations are paid up. We would love to see:

    1. One the stacked calendar to display something to show if the booking is not paid in full.
    2. When hovering mouse over a reservation can the flyout show the Balance Outstanding and or the Paid amount.
    3. It would be great to have a report to filter reservations that have a non-zero balance outstanding. We spoke to the Help Desk folks and they say they cant have a condition on a derived field.

  11. Airbnb has a new Virtual Tour option where pictures are assigned to rooms and then a sort of virtual tour is available for guests. Hostfully doesn't support this function at this time. Unfortunately, one of their new very popular filters is properties with a virtual tour. This means that we are not showing up on this filter.

    It does not look like Airbnb supports this feature at the moment. Here's an extract from an article on their site: 


    "Airbnb currently doesn’t support embedding virtual tours into your listing. You’ll have to upload your virtual tour elsewhere and direct your visitors there. You can add a URL of that site in the description, which travelers can copy and paste into their browser, or a QR Code in the image gallery that they can scan."

  12. While looking at the calendar for dates that aren't booked yet, would be nice to be able to toggle some shading for rates/colors. I use it to help adjust my Dynamic Pricing (DPGO for me) to see where I might have a property over/under priced.
    Would be nice to have a few brackets can set the amount and color. 0-200 - Yellow, 201-400 - Green, 400+ Red.

  13. Hostfully currently has a Guest list, but it is hidden deep in the UI.

    Within the guest's "Guest Information" page you are able to see a history of their reservations (Guest Booking History)

    However, you are not able to access a reservation from the Guest record or make any changes to their bookings.

    If the reservation records show in this page preformed like the pipeline records, this currently useless feature would become an extremely valuable tool, of particular help with guests with multiple bookings.

  14. I would like to edit the blue bubble for the provider and change the color like i want. When we watch the calendar we can see rapidly who is working.
    Or, when we pass the arrow on the bubble we see '' 1 job'', I would like to see the name of the provider.

  15. When you add a new team member and give them access to 1 or multiple properties from your inventory, you can then assign a role to them.

    The different roles are as follows:

    • associate
    • booking agent
    • property sales manager
    • manager

    When you assign either of the roles that gives the team member to a specific property and all of its details, this also gives them access to the OWNER tab of the property.

    The owner tab of the property stores personal contact information of the owner of the property and this does not need and should not be visible to…

  16. When a guest is booking a reservation, chooses location and dates, it takes you to booking page where a TOTAL Cost of Stay shows, instead of the base nightly Rental Rate. This may scare off many interested guests. You can "show details" which will outline all the cost associated with the booking, but we believe it's critical to have Base Rental Nightly Rate showcased at top where it only currently shows TOTAL COST for One or More Nights. Desire what hotels and airlines show when booking reservations.

  17. Under each agent message it shows " Sent via Email April 02 2022, 10:30 am"

    It would be very useful to have the agent listed here too. e.g. " Sent via Email April 02 2022, 10:30 am by <agent>"

    It will make it easier to track agent responses in the booking thread

It takes me a very long time to go through the list of Amenities because it isn't alphabetized .... even if no one else wanted it that way, I would love the ability to be able to manage it so I can see it in a way that makes it much faster for me to go through ... also am very confused as to why the "Baby high chair" is listed under "indoor" amenities instead of under the "family" section.   19. If there are dates available to extend the stay (either before or after the dates that the guest initially chose), create the possibility to notify the guest at the last minute, so that they can easily extend their stay if there are available dates before the next guest's booking starts.

    1. Set the display order for services - It would be nice to be able to sort the order in which add on services are presented to the customer at checkout. Presently the order seems to mirror that of the order they are displayed in the "Edit Provider" backend, however, you cannot adjust the order (the are simply listed in the order created).
