Good news! we have improved our Stripe implementation and this functionality will be released on April 8th. Here will be the new flow on the Direct Booking Site for properties set with a 0% reservation deposit:
- Guest books and enters their credit card (no payment upfront)
- Balance is automatically charged on the due date
- If the charge fails → 📧 A balance due email is sent
This is fully aligned with our auto-charge of the 2nd payment flow with Stripe.

This is such a fundamental feature for any app. This really needs to be updated. I’ve missed many Hostfully messages because the app doesn’t have this feature.

VRBO has a new feature where you can have different cancellation policies for different times of the year. How to a use this feature with Hostfully. VRBO won't let me edit the cancellation policy. It would be great to have ability to create cancellation policies for different period.

This would be a great feature if you could set a discount by the number of days and also if you could apply it to certain months, dates, or seasons. I use the 2 length of stay discounts that are available under Hostfully pricing but more than 2 would be better.
