Guidebook on ipad or display screen like digital signage
My idea is to have the Hostfully guidebook view like a slideshow (or think of digital signage) on my iPad or monitors. So my thought the guidebook would have a welcome screen with the customer’s name, today’s forecast and date, then automatically flip through the other cards with videos to play on a card, restaurants, and have RSS feeds with news or links to our local updated events.
My thought is to have the guidebook show like digital signage that you’d see in a hotel, but personalized to the guest and display on an iPad or monitor.

Allow for subscribed magazines to be added to card
i am subscribed to a few subscription magazines that allow digital downloads and i think it would be great to have the option to have an entertainment card that allows us to upload subscription magazines to hosfully platform as i think in this age of corona having physical magazines touched by multiple guests is not the most ideal.

Adjust default map zoom level in guidebook
Currently, when opening a guidebook, the map sometimes appears greyed out because it’s zoomed in too closely by default. This can make it seem like the map isn’t loading properly. Please adjust the default zoom level so that the map starts at a slightly wider view.

Assign cards to different categories
I want to assign cards in the guidebook to different categories. For example, I have some cards under a cleaning tab and I want them to appear under the Long Term Renters tab as well.

ai Day 1 issue
Hello, I was playing around with AI planner and it starts:
Day 1 - Morning - arrive at (house)...Note that our check-in is at 4pm, which is pretty standard for most homes. May I suggest you have the AI plan around when host check-in time is, or at least plan for Day 1 to start in the afternoon.

Multiple categories for a recommendation
The recommendations should be able to be added to multiple categories. For example if I add a restaurant it can go in Places to eat but also in the Delivery tab

Improved Variable Integration Between Hostfully PMP & Guidebooks
Currently, when using both the Hostfully PMP and Hostfully Guidebooks, some key data does not sync between the two platforms, even though one of the main benefits of using both products is their integration.
It would be incredibly helpful if additional variables from the PMP’s Property Settings (like Wi-Fi name and password) could be used directly within Guidebooks. For example, if I update the Wi-Fi information in the PMP, I also have to manually update it in the guidebook. Instead, it would be ideal if Guidebooks could support variables, just like templates and triggers do, so this information is automatically…

Ability to Upload Video Files Directly to Guidebooks
We would like to request the ability to upload video files directly to Guidebooks, instead of having to first upload the video to an external platform (such as YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) and then insert a link.
This feature would streamline the process, save time, and make it easier for users who may not be familiar with external video hosting platforms. It would also allow for a more integrated and seamless experience within the Guidebooks environment.

Have the list item in check-in card + check-out card
In my check-in and check out process, I want to add the item list (like umbrella, air mattresses, baby cot, etc) that guest can tick on so we can prepare for them.
I know Guidebook have the check-out list item in Departure catogories. That would be great if we can add the check-in item list to guest and once the guest check the guidebook,

Allow different check-in cards assigned for same guidebook
Having different check in cards, all linked to the same Guidebook would help use leverage the same guidebook across master-child properties.

put in place to “auto-heal” after outages,
I experienced an outage of the guidebook product on May 04th, 2025, and my triggers all failed to send due to this event.
Next time there is a brief outage, I will end up in the same place. is there something that will be put in place to “auto-heal” after outages, otherwise, any minor outage and I have a problem.1 vote -
Sorting Recommendations behind the scenes
Being able to filter the recommendations when you are sorting them behind the scenes would be very helpful. currently you can search for the category but as soon as you go into one and back it brings them all up again. purely for the editing side :)

Add image to guidebook page
I have an image of a key lockbox and regardless of how I try to size it on my computer when I upload it to my check-in instructions page then it is huge and you have no feature to size on the page. I should be able to click on the corner and pull the mouse inward to size it smaller.

Guest Terms fix
Please fix the issue in "guest Terms". Ive received multiple complaints from customers that have had to enter their name and email multiple times to get access.

Change the default messaging of the Splash Page to a more polite message
The current default messaging to the Splash Page is: “Here’s everything you need to know. Read and accept our important terms & conditions to gain access”
In our opinion, that messaging comes across as so abrupt that it borders on being rude. It is not a hospitable way to communicate with guests. There is not even a “please” in it.
I'm surprised that a company like Hostfully who services the hospitality industry would use messaging like this and not allow us to change it.
One of the main reasons why we decided to use Hostfully was to capture email address…
