  1. Option to book without credit card.

    Some guests don't want to put their credit card information in advance.
    It would be nice if there is an option for guests to make a booking request without credit card information.

    => It helps property managers to get more bookings

  2. I would like to see full access to the pipeline for all managers. We are working as a team and today I have to edit a booking and assign it to me to i.e. record a payment. When I am done I have to edit the booking and assign it back to i.e. a booking agent. A Manager should be able to work with all tasks on all bookings.

    It's a timeline view showing properties against a calendar, and it has a number of ways to filter the properties. In particular, by Amenities.

    Would love to have something like this. Thanks!

Currently API Webhooks do not have any identity verification, so teoretically they can be called by a bad person, who could trigger our system to do some processing unnecessarily (update property or similar). We would like to have some authentication or identity verification method so we would be sure with identity of source system. This method can be simple:

    • Basic authenticiation
    • secret code
    • generated token or any other similar method.

    This improvement request is based on our discussion with Hostfully representant on 04-14-2021.

  5. I would like more control over the turn over days option. I'd like to be able to customize dates to have turnover days not just a blanket option which doesn't allow me to be seen by potential guests. I would like to to be able to open up same day turn overs when I know there is a cleaner available to do such a task.

  7. I own a cabin in an area where MANY cabins have lofts. Most loft have multiple beds or bunkbeds but are not considered a room.

    For example a 2 bed 2 bath cabin with a loft (full of bunks and overlooking the living room)

    In Hostfully I am forced to add this as a bedroom, when that is misleading...so then I have no where to add the extra beds. I can add them to the living room so that they are listed...but they are in the loft...not the living room.

  9. Owners must pay taxes on all mandatory fees that are charged to the guest as a condition of the rental. This typically covers all extra charges, such as cleaning fees, pet fees, credit card fees, etc. Refundable damage or security deposits are not taxable.

    Currently, Hostfully owns applies tax rate to the gross rent.

    This is a huge headache for having to manually adjust applicable taxes.

  10. Adding the "Total Reservation Price WITHOUT The Refundable Security Deposit" when guests are about book directly with you. As of right now guests only see the ENTIRE TOTAL amount including the refundable security deposit but it would be nice for them to know how much they are paying at the end once they get their deposit back, thank you!

  12. The sales receipt for vrbo should post as an invoice so that payments can be applied as received. Invoice should break out rental income, taxes, fees etc like the Abnb Sales receipt does.

  13. My Townhouse is in a resort with a general reception desk. Each guest is required to have a reservation number. This could be easily added as guest data, instead of changing it each time within the check-in section of the guidebook. I can anticipate me forgetting to do so and the incorrect reservation number being sent to the guest.

  14. At this moment there is only possibility to upload one review in API using POST /reviews function. It will be good to have possibility to send list of reviews in one request.
    The limit per API key is not allowing quickly upload all the reviews for one Property Manager.

  16. We have set our housekeepers up as Service Providers which is a great way to organize our cleaning and communicate the job requests with them! The only problem is that they have full access to our main calendar and have, on occassion, deleted cleans scheduled for other housekeepers. It would be great if the houskeepers could view the calendar but not be able to make changes.

    The ability to share read-only calendars with service providers already exists in the Service Provider Portal. This allows PMs to share information about jobs, property information and calendar information in a read-only way. Service Providers can also accept jobs and mark them as completed.   17. It would be nice to have a variable to total rent paid by a guest (prior to fees and taxes) for their stay that we can use in custom templates in which we want to communicate to an owner their total payout from a guest stay.

  18. Currently the fees for Airbnb are NOT BEING CALCULATED in the reporting features! This is huge cost to my business because without that fee coming out of the gross income amount, I as the PM am being stuck with the expense! And there is no way to see it on any reports.

  19. Is it possilbe to provide the External Booking ID for Homeaway/VRBO channel via the lead endpoint? This is a fairly critical issue for us when aligning transaction reports to/from vendors

  20. When an owner has multiple properties it requires me to send a separate invitation for the owner to claim their account for each property. In this instance the owner has 10 properties. Do they really need to get 10 separate email invitations? Also, do they have a multi-calendar view? (I don't know what they see on their end.)
