Good news! we have improved our Stripe implementation and this functionality will be released on April 8th. Here will be the new flow on the Direct Booking Site for properties set with a 0% reservation deposit:
- Guest books and enters their credit card (no payment upfront)
- Balance is automatically charged on the due date
- If the charge fails → 📧 A balance due email is sent
This is fully aligned with our auto-charge of the 2nd payment flow with Stripe.

Please consider offering a different booking window for direct website + hostfully booking widget vs other booking channels. For example in high season OTAs could have 2 week window and own website longer window to promote direct bookings.
Alternatively, this could be achieved by creating blocks that do not apply to direct website.

Hi, this would be great - currently, we can create a non-refundable coupon, but ideally, the non-refundable rate would have a separate charge rule. For example, if guests book a refundable rate, they are charged 10% (deposit) when they book and 90% when the free cancellation period lapses. If they book non-refundable, they should pay 100% when booking. Currently, this customisation is impossible.
