Handle Booking.com guest portal messaging in Hostfully's Inbox
Handle Booking.com guest portal messaging through Hostfully's Inbox so that I can consolidate all guest communication to one location - the Hostfully Inbox.
Currently I am able to handle all Booking.com guest email communication through the Hostfully Inbox. But if the guest sends a message through the Booking.com guest portal then I have to check for guest messages in Booking.com or my email.

Support line breaks (spacing) in SMS messages
As a PM I would like to have my text messages separated by “returns” on the keyboard. Right now, I can enter returns in SMS templates, but when I click save then the system deletes them and make it difficult for guests to read my SMS messages.

Allow control over system template automation
System templates are sent automatically to our Booking.com guests but some of them are irrelevant to our business or sent when they are not needed.
When a guest has paid via Booking.com virtual card, Hostfully has seen this as unpaid and sent the guest a payment link. The guest then paid twice. We then lost money refunding him.
Its also wasting our time trying to reassure people that they don't owe money or that we aren't trying to con them.We need to have more control over these and should be able to turn off the automatic feature.
51 votesThis feature has now be deployed to production. Users can now turn off the messages automatically sent by the systems using a toggle control on the System Templates page.
Note that templates which do not show a toggle button do not get sent automatically, but are templates for messages sent by property managers.

Templates: Allow variables in the subject line
I'd like to be able to use variables in the subject line. Right now it's not possible.

Adjust calendar to be consistently Sun-Sat
The new calendar view is Monday first, then Sunday last. But it's always been Sunday first, Saturday last. When drilling into reservation details, it's also Sunday first. Please adjust to be consistent and stick with Sunday first. It's very confusing.

Pre Arrival Form -only ask for either Government ID or Passport
I see the the form has been updated so it can be customized. However it now asks for both the ID and the Passport of the guest. We only require one of these. I have been getting pushback from guests who do not have a passport. Please remove one of or combine these fields.

23 votesThis has been completed. The form now only refers to government IDs, whether they are a passport or any other official government ID. This should remove the confusion associated with mentioning passports.

Update Amenities to Reflect Airbnb's Entire New List
With amenties being such a huge search filter being used, the API connection on Hostfully should reflect every Airbnb amenity since their new updated list a few months ago.

single property calendar feedback
it would be really nice to have the direct link to the property listing page back again at the top right.
it is impossible to see the dates of a month when these are booked. See screenshot attached. It would be good to show the dates above the booked dates
back-to-back booking does not always have the white space in between. see screenshot attached
mouse over shows Channel, Guest Name, # adults and price. It would be nice to have check in/out date mentioned as well.

Make the calendar truly full screen (kill the "scroll within a scroll")
It's not truly full screen now, which leaves you with the "scroll within a scroll" (i.e. there are two righthand scroll bars, one for the browser and one for the calendar). Those are always a pain to work with, and make it difficult to find the bottom (left-right) scroll bar.
That would also make it possible to remove the silly dead space at the top where it says "[Agency] Properties Calendar"

Change the wording in Pipeline from "days" to "nights"
This is a minor annoyance, but should be a quick fix.
In the Pipeline, the guests stay is labelled a "x days" however, length of stay in a short term accommodation is pretty much universally referred to as "x nights."
Again, it's not critical, but seeing "x days" does throw me off a little. It would be an improvement if the cell was labeled "nights"

Great improvement with the new calendar!
When selecting the "available from" field and leaving the "available to" field empty, it would be great when the calendar jumps to this date.

Mobile app: Add ability to copy messages
The request: Add the ability to copy messages in the inbox on the Mobile App.
On the mobile app, it is currently not possible to copy messages in the inbox. This is important because I often copy guest questions and forward them to our cleaning team who has the answers. Without that, I'm forced to log in on a computer to copy the messages, which is tough to do when on the road. Further, if I could do this, I could copy previous messages I've written to other guests (like "Thank you for staying with us....we'd appreciate if you left…

Airbnb - Add photos to "Where you'll sleep" section
Airbnb has a new option to add photos to a "where you'll sleep" section. As a PM, having the ability to add photos to that section helps me improve my listing and set expectations.
As a traveler, it provides me more details on the sleeping arrangements.
I am not currently able to use this section with a full sync from Hostfully to Airbnb as Hostfully does not support it in the API. The only option I have right now, is to do a partial sync or not use that functionality on Airbnb.
37 votesHi everyone! Thank you so much for writing in about Airbnb's "where you'll sleep" feature. We just released the enhancement today.
To use this feature, make sure Airbnb is turned on at the Channels and Property level. Then go to the Property and the Photos tab.
From there, you can enable the "where you'll sleep" option and then map it to the room in the drop-down list. Please see the screen shot attached.

Make check in/out availability visible again from the calendar view
With the current/old calendar it used to be that if dates were unavailable for check in/out they would appear red. That made it easy to see whether dates were correctly marked as unavailable across the entire portfolio.
With the new calendar we have lost that functionality. Can we get that back? It would also be incredibly useful to be able to update the check in/out restrictions for certain dates across the entire portfolio at once.

Enhanced Reporting - Allow filter or tags by "Channels"
I love the new enhanced reports. I created a report that would allow me to quickly build a Hotel Tax Report. We collect for VRBO and Direct bookings so we have to remit, but Airbnb and Booking.com collect and remit. Would be nice to filter those channels out of the reports. Would be helpful in other reports that are channel specific as well. Thanks!

A notification when a message is received
We find it hard to monitor new messages since there's no notification when a message is received. It would be best is there is a sound option or a push notification when there's new message receive even if the tab is not open at the moment of receiving the message.

Remove "FROM" $XXX" on the direct booking page (shows LOWEST price)
I OFTEN have guest confused on our direct booking page "but it said (from) $123 a night, but when I clicked the dates it's $350 a night." *the somehow MISS the "from."
I answer "Yes- you are seeing the LOWEST pricing (I use Beyond pricing) for a random Sunday or Monday night."
Is there a way to show the average daily rate vs the LOWEST price on our entire calendar. This has happened multiple times in the last week. Jumping from our lowest price of the season (shown on the booking page) to a holiday rate in the quote is…
