Agree. Access control lists for viewing more stuff is the way to go here

Could you please provide more information, and maybe screenshots? We do not understand this request. In the Inbox, all the messages related to a particular booking/guest already appear in the same thread. Thank you.

I do like the receipt template now in inbox
Along with pdf version there should be an image version
This will get into Airbnb and other channels that might not support pdf

I'm not sure how to generate any kind of receipt. I get requests for them all the time and have to make them manually.. it's very annoying.

I find this odd also. it should just be part of the "rent"
Alternatively, we should be able to assign this to a field.
In our case, the rate multiplier offsets the platform cost, we deduct this prior to computing our split with the hosts.
so for us I'd like this rate multiplier to be a "platform fee". but I agree "rate multiplier" is bad.

Thinking more about this, I think the ideal solution is forthe PM to be able to configure the price shown to the owner.
In our case, they get [rent - (platform fee + channel price adjustment)]
if we can have 2 columns (include/exclude) with all the compnents that might go into price, then PM's could just check the components they want to include or exclude from the computation.
ideally this would be done at the account level with an override by owner and/or by property.
This would make this the most configurable and flexible.

we use the channel price adjustment feature to account for the platform fees.
it should be possible for hostfully to reduce the rent by this amount (if set to do so by the manager)We don't make the booking value visible to owners for this reason, and send them a monthly statement, but they really would like to know as reservations come in how much money they're making.

Airbnb doesn't support this.
They have length of stay discounts
So effectively when doing this on Airbnb you raise rates across rhe board then add length of stay discounts to get the rate to what you need for various lengths of stay
I suppose Hostfully could do the math to make this work but that seems risky and complicated. And guests will see too high a price if they search without dates
And if you iluse their custom promotions those will be based on a higher base rate
I like this idea. I think it might be tough to get right given Airbnb doesn't support this directly
