QR Codes for Direct Booking Site
It would be helpful to have a QR code to display in our homes so guests can scan and book again, directly on our website.

I want a way that all of my guest's info is saved as a unit inside Hostfully.
When I direct book, I have to remember all of their info. I need there phone number, email, and name. I wish I could select a person's name and their info would auto populate.

Automatically capturing the Airbnb guest email address
I came from Hospitable.com. I'm so disappointed that Hostfully doesn't collect email address from guest messages in Airbnb the way Hospitable does! I had a Mailchimp integration with Hospitable that was just beautiful. I need that desperately with Hostfully. It's enough to make me question moving forward with the platform. Please make it possible!
1 voteHello Alicia, Hostfully already provides this feature, in a more sophisticated way. The system allows you to automatically send a pre-arrival form to your Airbnb guest and capture emails and any other information you require. Once the guest emails are in the system, they can automatically be synchronized with Mailchimp. Show pre-arrival form data directly on Stay Details section
Can you port arrival form directly to the Guest Information. We are manually collecting address and then cutting and pasting.
Add a formal set of booking gest address fields that align with client information. This would save a lot of time in updating! And then we can link to external integrations also!!
1 voteHello Mike, you can find the data provided by guests on the Pre-Arrival Form on the Stay Details tab on the Edit Lead pop-up (that you see when clicking bookings on the calendar).

Allow guests to make payments
We should have the ability to charge guests one time payments towards their bookings. I have a lot of guests wanting to make payments towards their stays, and I have to send them a payment link via stripe to take care of it.
1 voteHello James - this is at the core of what the Hostfully PMP does - you can create a booking directly on the calendar and choose the option to Save and Open Mailer the payment link to the guest. Based on the rules you defined in Agency Settings, the guest will either pay the full amount or the % to reserve the place (and balance paid N days before check-in). Allow potential guests to get quote without putting in email, etc.
Currently, guests must put their name and email to be able to get a quote. This is prohibiting business as it is easier to go to Airbnb or VRBO to run numbers on homes...and then they may find a different home. I would love the option to be able to turn this feature off and only collect guest information when they actually book. Thank you for your consideration.

Auto collect payments instead of just sending a reminder
I just onboarded with Hostfully and was very surprised that after a guest books the second payment is not automatically collected when due. I have been with two other PMPs and this was standard in both of them. In both of those systems the credit card used for their payment is stored and used for the second payment when due.
We collect 50% at booking, 50% is due 60 days prior to arrival. We always had a triggered message 10 days before the due date reminding the guest that their balance would automatically be charged on XX date (60 days…1 voteDear Carole. Thank you for your feedback.
The Hostfully PMP does automatically collect balance payments. It should work in all cases as long as you use Stripe as your payment processor, unless the guest credit card is rejected by Stripe (which is rare).

Remove Title, move up calendar to the top
Let's optimize the calendar page layout by killing the dead space at the top.
For that we'll do the following:
- remove the h1 title
- move the filter icon
- move up calendar to the top below the nav
- have the horizontal scrollbar coincide with the bottom of the browser2 votes -
Recording of refunds and cancellation payments.
It seems we cannot enter refund or cancellation Vacation Rent Payment payments in Hostfully. I think it important to see at a glance all the payments and refunds together in the Hostfully portfolio.
We cant enter the transaction manually either. At a minimum we should be able to enter the refund into Hostfully.
1 voteThe platform supports recording of refunds with Stripe. Cancellations are also recorded by the system.

Accrual Revenue Reporting by Month
Ability to see rent broken down by property for a specific time period based on days stayed at property during that time period. This report would be useful for allowing users improved financial accounting/reporting as well as reporting to tax agencies.
Example: Property A is booked for 3 months and checks in on October 31st. Today, there is no accrual revenue report that breaks that revenue out throughout November, December and January.

What you are referring to is actually provide through the Enhanced Reports. That’s what the “Revenue Report” (as opposed to Booking Report) is designed to do.

Flag bad guests that you won't host again
Whether we're sending post stay check ins, or wanting to avoid re-booking bad guests, it would be nice to have some sort of ability to categorize guests who you don't want to welcome back. They wouldn't be able to re-book under that email and automatic templates wouldn't be sent to them.

Full white label domain for the hostfully guest facing services.
We'd like the ability to use a custom subdomain for the checkout and pre-arrival form pages, as well as any other guest facing interactions. This functionality already exists in the guidebooks.
In a perfect world, the guest would never be aware that they have been transferred to a site run by Hostfully.
1 voteThe booking flow already supports white labelling (see an example at https://pms.hostedvacations.com/vacation-rental-properties-v2/) - the only page still mentioning Hostfully is the Pre-Arrival Form confirmation page, which we are currently fixing.

Allow multiple agents to work on a single reservation
At present, a reservation must be assigned to a single agent, however, any organization with more than a few vacation rentals likely has at least two employees who need to interact with guests and manipulate reservations.
The ability for multiple agents to log in and work on reservations is pretty critical to the scalability of the platform, especially if a history/change log were addd to the UI.
1 voteAny agent can re-assign a lead to themselves. Through the Edit Lead modal, just re-assign a lead to yourself using the "agents" drop-down box.

Reject reservations with failed payment
If a payment is declined by the payment processor, the reservation should not be accepted and cancelled to keep the calendar available
4 votesThey system already rejects reservations with failed payments, with the exception of particular cases on VRBO and Booking.com: for Booking.com, their platform is initially made for hotels and they consider that a reservation is valid even if the payment is not yet received. For VRBO, in the case of 3DS2 security validation failing (case that mostly applies to Europe), a reservation will be ok'ed and a payment link will the sent to the guest to pay immediately on Hostfully. Note that this latter case for VRBO is about to be handled and this flow will work as expected.

Should be mandatory for guests to submit identification w/ payment!
It would save so much time and energy if it were mandatory for guests to submit their identification along with their payment when booking directly. This could help screen out under age bookings, help host make sure the booking guest is who they say they are and also give host peace of mind that if there was an issue we can show identification if there was a problem at the property! this would SAVE SO MUCH TIME AND ENERGY!!!!!!

View Property Name on all property setting tabs.
When setting up property settings, it is helpful to show the property name at the top of each of the tabs. It is now showing for all of the tabs, except for Fees & Policies, which seems to be one of the most helpful tabs to have it displayed on.

Customized Direct Booking Links for each Property
I'd love to see a customizable link for each property vs having to send the current property links which are wordy, include symbols, etc.

Owner credits
Allow owner credits to be created in the owner adjustments section, not just expenses.
