  1. The request: Add the ability to copy messages in the inbox on the Mobile App.

    On the mobile app, it is currently not possible to copy messages in the inbox. This is important because I often copy guest questions and forward them to our cleaning team who has the answers. Without that, I'm forced to log in on a computer to copy the messages, which is tough to do when on the road. Further, if I could do this, I could copy previous messages I've written to other guests (like "Thank you for staying with us....we'd appreciate if you left…

  2. For now, the information about types of supported credit cards does not match between Hostfully and VRBO. That causes issues and confusion. On VRBO, it should only show the supported types of credit cards.

  4. Airbnb has a new option to add photos to a "where you'll sleep" section. As a PM, having the ability to add photos to that section helps me improve my listing and set expectations.

    As a traveler, it provides me more details on the sleeping arrangements.

    I am not currently able to use this section with a full sync from Hostfully to Airbnb as Hostfully does not support it in the API. The only option I have right now, is to do a partial sync or not use that functionality on Airbnb.

    Hi everyone! Thank you so much for writing in about Airbnb's "where you'll sleep" feature.  We just released the enhancement today.


    To use this feature, make sure Airbnb is turned on at the Channels and Property level. Then go to the Property and the Photos tab.


    From there, you can enable the "where you'll sleep" option and then map it to the room in the drop-down list. Please see the screen shot attached.

  5. With the current/old calendar it used to be that if dates were unavailable for check in/out they would appear red. That made it easy to see whether dates were correctly marked as unavailable across the entire portfolio.

    With the new calendar we have lost that functionality. Can we get that back? It would also be incredibly useful to be able to update the check in/out restrictions for certain dates across the entire portfolio at once.

  7. The primary contact on Booking.com needs to be the booking agent not the Admin of the Hostfully Account.
    At least remove the syncronization so we can enter the good information because when I make the change it went back the next day.

    The customer contact me instead of the agent. It doesnt make sens.

  8. I noticed a minor bug: when I scroll to the bottom of the Pipeline, the Footer info (Help, Privacy, Feedback) covers the Guest details on the Pipeline. Can you fix the Footer so that it stays below the Pipeline? Thanks.

  9. With 44 listings and 300-500 checkins per month, the Pipeline is nearly useless for managing bookings. It loads very slowly, and after about 50 bookings, glitched and runs off the end of the screen (see image).

    There are many settings (i.e canceling a reservation, marking a reservation a paid, and adding a manual payment) that are only accessible via the Pipeline.

    Without the ability to select a range of dates to display, it is nearly impossible to access these settings for reservations more than a week out from check-in.

  10. Currently Check-in and Checkout TIMES are hard to manage within the Hostfully API and it's not possible to edit times once a booking has been placed (not a great experience for our users but I assume this is because Airbnb also locks their check-in/out times.

    Hostfully created separate arrivalLocalDateTime and departureLocalDateTime fields which could have been the solution for Hostfully users not totally dependent on Airbnb but sadly, these fields can only be accessed via the Hostfully dashboard and not the API.

    Wouldn't it be easy enough to simply add these two fields within the leads API section?

  11. I love the new enhanced reports. I created a report that would allow me to quickly build a Hotel Tax Report. We collect for VRBO and Direct bookings so we have to remit, but Airbnb and Booking.com collect and remit. Would be nice to filter those channels out of the reports. Would be helpful in other reports that are channel specific as well. Thanks!

  12. I find that the information on the Dashboard is not very useful to me. I would like the dashboard to show high level performance like Occupancy rates, YTD and MTD revenue etc.. I suggest the following:
    - Configurable components on the Dashboard (allows users to display or not display the component
    - Total Revenue by month (a graph that shows revenue by month, similar to what AirBNB shows), allow filters by property
    - Total Occupancy by month - allow filters by property

  13. We find it hard to monitor new messages since there's no notification when a message is received. It would be best is there is a sound option or a push notification when there's new message receive even if the tab is not open at the moment of receiving the message.

  14. We urgently need calendars to be properly synced with Booking.com. At the moment booking.com doesn't take into account the 'no check in/outs allowed' for specific dates. This means we could get people checking in on Christmas day or New years eve, which we do not want.

  15. When a new user is added, we have to individually add their permissions property by property. It would be much easier if we could give them permissions, all at once, to a block of properties based on any criteria like a tag, location, or even a multi-select tool, etc.

  17. When you run a report, the quick options for dates are "Last week" or "This week". I never use those. By far the dates I'm using most frequently are for "Last Month", so I would like to see that as an option.

  18. When looking on the app calendar view, each property name is too long to be viewed. We have multiple properties at the same resort so the photos and property titles are very similar. We would like to have a short name for each. For example, for our Sullivan Stone 11 property, we would like to have it shown as SS11. If we change the internal name on our computer Hostfully listing, the short name is also being pulled into triggers and templates so the guest receives the "short" name in their template messages which could be confusing to them.   19. My calendar is not loading / updating correctly.

    14 October: I blocked off large chunks of dates to do a pricing update (using the web app)

    15 October: I deleted these blocks (using the web app).

    16 October: I notice the app still showing some of these block. If I scroll forward in the date range, one of them even disappears.

    16 October: my colleague's app calendar is different to mine - ALL the blocks are visible on this calendar
