  1. My suggestion for Hostfully would be to put a clause in your contract with channel partners saying they are not allowed to do offer promotions above and beyond without prior approval (an expectation that they can unless we opt out is not good enough).

  2. Currently in Spain we are having to register every guest over a certain age. The pre arrival form is the only way we can capture this without spending a lot of manhours chasing guests for information.
    What I propose is that each section of the form has the ability to add extra boxes of information.
    We need the name, I.D. type, I.D. number, expiry date, home address and the list goes on for each guest. So when they select the number of guests, you get multiple input boxes. Currently we get basic information for multiple guests and we need more.…

    Your documentation says that you are integrated to Dropbox Sign which is not correct, according to them. I am looking for a way to have my agreements signed and initialed (after certain paragraphs) before a rental agreement is finalized. Your current method will only collect a final signature. Signatures and Initials (both) make the form more legal.

    For legal reasons I would like the to be able to initial key sections of the agreement.

  11. It would be helpful to have the ability to add additional guests to the communication thread. Currently, only the primary guest receives messages, which means hosts must rely on them to relay information. Allowing multiple guests to be included would improve communication, reduce misunderstandings, and enhance the guest experience. This feature would be especially useful for group bookings or situations where multiple guests are involved in trip planning.

  13. Please add the property name to the pre-arrival form when completed. When I receive the form information by email I cannot see unless I click into the link what property it is for.

    It would be extremely helpful as I am managing multiple properties with other managers to know who the form belongs to without having to open the link and then click through the tabs to check the property.

  14. Using the PATCH properties endpoint, if we want to update the "cleaningFee" within the "pricing" object, we are also required to supply the "dailyRate" value in order to keep the call from failing.

    This is not desirable, because the PMS "dailyRate" may have been updated for many reasons, multiple times, and there is no "sync" from PMS back to our database, making this a very manual process to keep things aligned.

    The only workaround we can think of now is a complex "round-trip" of data:

    • call GET Properties endpoint to grab any data that may be overwritten during PATCH

  15. It would be helpful to have a way to extract or report on the number of messages sent and received for a specific property. This would allow us to better track communication volume and workload across our listings. Ideally, this data could be filtered by property and time range, and made available for export.

  16. This seems a ginormous oversight on the part of Hostfully, which could be very easily fixed - by not pooling together Fee / Service / Resolution adjustments into the one variable "Fee adjustment", and instead having a separate variable for each so they can be pulled in report separately.

  18. I am interested in setting up a system where travel agencies and other external partners can earn a commission (for example, 3%) for referring guests directly to our properties managed through HostFully. This would be separate from any internal programs currently offered by HostFully.

  19. Currently service providers are only available at mobile end. But it will help bein able to create service provider as team members: with customized access / features so that you can choose what they can see and do.

    Currently the associate role would eventually have access to all message threads, and pricing for the reservations, which is not great for a cleaner to see.
