Allow editing of non–per stay fees in Lead Modal
Currently, only fees configured with a “per stay” scope are editable from the Lead Modal. Fees with other scopes (for example, per night or percentage-based configurations) are not editable, which limits flexibility when managing reservations.
This behavior can be confusing, especially in cases where:
A fee is not percentage-based but still cannot be edited
Other fees (like VAT) may appear editable, creating inconsistency
Property managers need to quickly adjust fees without adding manual workarounds
At the moment, the only workaround is to add an adjustment or custom line item to offset the fee, which adds extra steps and reduces clarity in the booking breakdown.
Suggested improvement:
Allow editing of all fee types directly from the Lead Modal, regardless of scope, or clearly indicate why certain fees are locked and provide a more streamlined way to adjust them.
Use case:
PMs need to quickly modify fees (like DTCM or other non–per stay fees) when handling reservations, without relying on manual adjustments or external workarounds.
Impact:
Improving this would:
Reduce confusion around fee behavior
Save time when managing reservations
Provide more consistency across different fee types
Improve overall user experience in the Lead Modal
