Discount to properties without the need for a code
be able to offer/provide a discount in either currency terms or percentage to any given properties or property over a designated period of time without the need to have to ask guests to apply a code or manually reduce the pricing which then doesn't show it as an offer/discount.

Allow discount code to be used only once per user.
I mean the code can be used for many bookings during the time periods as long as the booking is valid. But each user/email, when making a reservation, can only use that code once.

Ability to add discount code at payment page before guest pays. This would be helpful if we would like to offer some last-minute discount and it creates a better workflow for customer journey

promo code Capital letter vs lower case
for a direct booking on the website when people put the discount code, we see the letters in capital letters at all times but the system is sensitive to lower and upper case letters. We often have errors because on cell phones, the first letter is always capitalized and that always creates errors. No matter what people write, it appears in capital letters. If we make a promo code in capital letters, customers write the first letter in capital letters and everything else appears in capital letters without being so, and if we make a code in lower case, people…

Promo codes without expiration, and with a specified minimum stay.
Two separate asks I suppose:
(1) Ability to create a code without an expiration date
(2) Configure codes for a minimum night stay so that we can tier offers (ex 10% off when you stay 3 nights, 20% off for 10 nights)6 votes -

Discount Codes should be editable
Discount codes - such as for a rolling last minute discount - should be editable. It's a pain to have to delete and recreate them constantly.

Add a promo code when sending a quote
Ability to add a promo code on the pop up where I’m sending a quote to a guest. Otherwise I just have to manually modify my rate and doesn’t allow us to track promo utilization. And if I add it as a line item then it's a post-tax deduction which means the guest isn’t getting charged properly (and doesn’t reflect the correct nightly rate in analytics either).

Apply discount code to multiple properties
At the moment, I can only either apply the same discount code to one property or all. It's not possible to apply the same code to selected properties.

Ability to use the property URL with the discount codes.
Previously we were able to use a format in the property URLs that automatically added the discount code for the user. Now this type of format does not work anymore. We would like to have the ability to send discounted rates to the customers adding the discount codes to the property URLs.

Variable Data Support for "Discount Code" Used Inside Inquiry / Booking form on the Direct Hostfully Booking Site
We're using the discount code option of the direct booking site with all of our direct bookings. We have several discount codes out in the marketplace that we give to our partners for their members to use to book a stay at our properties. We would like to be able to track each Guest's booking back to the partner organization they came from, which we can not do currently. We could easily accomplish this if the "Discount Code" entered during check out was included with each Guests Booking Profile and available as a variable data report for us to drop…

Promo code
Please create the option book within a specific period of time, from when the code was sent. i.e. when a guest checks out, they can receive the greatest discount to book with 72 hours of their stay. This would stimulate return bookings. I have seen these offers work at the end of a conference or the like. The best time to book your next trip is while you are enjoying your current one.

Notes Field under discount codes
As a property manager, it is really important to have a field that allows me to keep notes related to the specific discounts that were provided. They could vary in duration, could specify why the discount was given, and who it was for, or who authorized it.

Expose a warning when creating same-name discount codes
Discount codes with same names could not be created but currently there's no warning message upon their creation
