  1. Add "Custom" cancellation policy as an option for VRBO. Custom cancellation policy would allow us to withhold payment processing fees for cancellations. Without this, we don't have a way to withhold payment processing fees and must refund them.

  2. I'd like to integrate directly with Expedia from Hostfully to ensure my properties are listed there and not be charged commission through channel partners.

    I understand some properties are distributed to Expedia if I am connected to Vrbo, though Vrbo can't guarantee that will happen and we can't request it. I can connect to Expedia through channel management partners, but they charge an extra commission. A direct connection would guarantee I am listed on that channel and save listings expenses.

At the moment, when there's a sync issue with channel (for example: Airbnb), the error message is not clear and I need to reach out to support every time to check the root cause (an error occurred, could not update booking settings, etc.). I want to have clearer messages so I know what to do to troubleshoot.

  4. I want the messages from PMP to Airbnb guests to look like they are coming from my company, not from the owner account.

  5. Following our article, the modification for Airbnb res would need to take action on Airbnb then the change would flow into Hostfully.

    However, initially, when the guest made the alteration request, the PM would not receive any notification from Hostfully but only receive the notification for Airbnb modification through Airbnb. The change was confirmed and reflected in HFL without any notification.

    I would like to have the notification for the modification request from Airbnb guests from Hostfully not only Airbnb.

  6. It appears that captions don't appear on direct booking site when viewing photos.
    I’d think it’d be good if they were displayed somewhere.
    They have relevant and important information.
    It'd be great if captions can be shown there.

  8. Checkout instruction on Airbnb kept being updated as blank upon syncing.

    It's a new feature on Airbnb and Hostfully hasn't supported it yet via API (Airbnb PUT /listings.checkouttasks). Instead, Hostfully sends NULL by default, which overrides the updates on Airbnb UI.

  10. Hostfully does not enable hosts to specify the number of pets allowed in property setting, but Airbnb does. As a result, Hostfully does not communicate the pet number to Airbnb, and Airbnb displays its default value of 5 on the listing.

    The property manager would like to be able to define the number of pets so that the information is accurate and does not mislead guests.

  11. At the moment, for BDC channel, Hostfully does not yet support multiple transactions on a single order and only receive the first reservation via API.

    We enquire Hostfully to work with booking.com to resolve the tech issue moving forwards. You note that it’s rare but we’ve already had about 3 of these bookings in a short period of time. If 2 suites are booked with booking - then it should automatically show on the calendar, without having to manually blocking out the calendar or raising separate cleaning jobs.

  12. your system really needs to have a separate "space" ,neighborhood,and other listing description categories that is for only VRBO to grab from so we can just have a condensed version of our main listing description categories so we can keep under their stupid 10k total character limit.

  13. When hostfully is integrated with VRBO, the listing description is all out of order. The notes section is at the top, which should be at the bottom like Airbnb. Several fields, are noted through the listing description in a weird order without a headline and it doesn't make any sense. The fields for the neighborhood, interaction, access and transit are described throughout the VRBO listing with no headline and in a very weird order. Those fields should only communicate with Airbnb, since there is no equivalent for VRBO. It creates a very confusing VRBO listing.

  16. We don't want to have any unpaid reservations from either BDC or Vrbo to block my calendar.

    We have trouble on Booking.com to cancel a booking on Extranet.
    We were forced to call Booking.com to attempt to cancel this cooking. Nothing was done. We have been working on this for awhile now. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE REMOVE the setting that allows a guest to book without proper payment. This makes a high amount of stress on our end and we already wor over 90 hours a week.     The map showing on DBS is too specific, it pins the exact location of the house. We would love to see the general map only.

    While labeling the site won't help and there's no way to customize it. It'd be great if we're given options to hide or adjust the Map showing on DBS
