  1. Although VRBO already allows for security deposit collection, having something as well for Airbnb guests would be ideal! Automating a message 1-2 weeks prior to check-in, with a link to an invoice with deposit amount would be sufficient.

    It would be up to hosts to communicate properly with guests to set expectations that this invoice will be coming prior to their arrival.

  2. We should have the ability to Schedule Deposit payments, Refunds and credit card holds are an essential part of our practice. Hopefully should also work with payment systems to negotiate a refund on the transaction fees.

  4. On doing a Refund that has more than one transaction, i.e. when a guest cancels after making their deposit and final payment, it would be a lot simpler if the Refund being processed could all be done in one Refund, instead of a refund for each individual payment made.

Would love to have the option for our guests to use the link to pay any amount like when two guests split the bill in two or more, or when they can pay a certain amount at a time, instead of the strict amount based on our reservation payment policy (50% deposit, 50% balance. That said, when we send them the payment reminder, they can use the link in there and enter "x" amount.

  7. When manually entering a lead, such a phone call reservation, we still want to process the lead as if they booked on our direct booking website. We would like the % at reservation value (from the property main settings) to automatically be included in the reservation pay lines so we do not have to manually calculate and add it to each reservation.

  8. At least 85% of our guests book via our direct booking website. The majority of them stay with us for 2-6 months. They always want to pay for just 1 month at a time, but Hostfully requires them to pay for the entire stay up front. This scares some potential guests away because even though we explain that we can manually just charge them for 1 month at a time, all they see is the huge total amount for the entire stay when they do a search for their dates.   9. Make Damage/Security Deposits able to be 'PreAuthorized' and not a charge. This scares some Guests off.

    And make the timing of the PreAuthorization able to be set as to when this is taken.

  11. We would like to be able to choose Vacation Rent Payment as our payment processor so we can use different VRP accounts on the property level in Hostfully.
    Our accounting systems and processes and PMS we are transitioning from allowed us to use our multiple Vacation Rent Payment accts.
    As a PM, we would like to continue to offer this service to our owners for direct deposit into their accts.

  13. When running an owner report, the total reflects the entire cost of the reservation. When a guest stays for 2 or more months, Airbnb breaks up your payouts in 30 day increments. I would like to pay may owner's what I actually received for that month. If I pay the entire reservation and the guest cancels mid-stay, I would have to ask for money back from the owner. The Transaction History also accounts for guest resolutions. i.e. charges for damage or refunds for guest inconveniences.

If under property settings 100% of the payment is not collected at the time of reservation (i.e. certain percentage will be due x days prior to checkin), then pipeline won't show the option to "send balance payment request" until the payment due date which is x days prior to checkin date. manager should be able to send the balance payment request ahead of the due date and not wait for the payment due date to send the payment request.

  17. A "Refund Days" setting of X day to automatically refund the security deposti. The agent would see an alert in the pipeline and system email that an auto refund is set to occur in X days. The agent would have the options to: deny the auto refund, change the refund amount along with a note to the guest, approve and note to the guest, or ignore.

  20. Allow users to include the $ amount collected to the rental agreement, as it is sometimes necessary during legal disputes, to show that amount.
    Renaming the rental agreement to "occupancy agreement" would also be a more acurate name, since renter laws such as rent control don't apply to Short Term Rentals.
