**Support Multiple Payment Accounts & Automated Property-Level Payouts for Multi-Entity Operators**
Feature Request:
Allow Hostfully users to connect multiple payment processor accounts and assign them to specific properties or legal entities within a single Hostfully PMS account.
Current Challenge:
Property managers operating properties under multiple LLCs or ownership entities currently face limitations in how guest payments are collected and distributed.
For example, our portfolio consists of six properties owned by two separate legal entities. Although Hostfully allows us to manage all six properties under one account, its PayPal integration requires all guest payments to flow through one PayPal account and subsequently into one entity's bank account.
This creates unnecessary intercompany transfers, reconciliation work, cash-flow complications, and additional accounting responsibilities simply to distribute funds to their rightful owners.
Proposed Improvements:
- Multiple Payment Accounts: Allow multiple PayPal or other supported payment processor accounts to be connected within one Hostfully account.
- Property-Level Payment Routing: Enable users to assign each property to a designated merchant account and bank account, ensuring guest payments are deposited directly into the correct legal entity.
- Automated Split Payments: For properties involving multiple owners or stakeholders, support configurable payment allocation percentages and automatic distributions.
- Centralized Management: Maintain one unified Hostfully dashboard, calendar, reservation system, and reporting environment while supporting separate financial operations for each entity.
- Accounting Integration: Automatically associate payments, processing fees, refunds, and payouts with the appropriate property and legal entity to simplify reconciliation and financial reporting.
Why This Matters:
Many professional vacation rental operators manage properties across multiple LLCs for ownership, liability, financing, or partnership purposes. Requiring all reservation payments to flow through a single entity creates avoidable administrative work and complicates financial reporting.
While Stripe currently offers some property-level payment routing capabilities, this functionality should not be limited to a single payment processor, particularly when operators may encounter processor-specific reserve requirements, fees, or other restrictions.
Requested Outcome:
A flexible, processor-independent payment management system that allows operators to manage multiple properties and legal entities under one Hostfully account, with guest payments automatically routed to the appropriate merchant and bank accounts.
This would be a significant operational improvement for growing property management companies and multi-entity vacation rental businesses.
