Doesn't this work already.. if you use variables for the check in time, and you update the check in time on the reservation, then the new check in time will appear in the message when it's sent out.
I believe the schedule just triggers applying the template at the time the message is sen't. it doesn't pre-generate whole message.
So I think that *may* solve your problem? or do I misunderstand the issue?

Ideally this would work like Airbnb.
you unblocking dates should break the current block into 2 (one before and one after).
as it is, we need to delete the block and then add 2 new ones with some risk that a booking sneaks in while we're doing this manual work.
I'd like to select dates that may already be blocked, and then unblock them.

IMHO, this isn't a PMS activity but more appropriate for a 3rd party integration>
I'm surprised some of the existing integrations don't support this already.

IMHO, you should be able to do all the things from the same view.
doesn't make sense that the booking info works differently from dashboard, vs pipeline vs calendar view.Should all be the same and allow us to do everything.

why doesn't this have more votes?
IMHO, all the things you need to do to a listing should be doable from the listing page.
Similarly all the things you might do to a bunch of listings should have a way to manage multiple listings (like the channels, etc.)

I'd like to set the commissions per property and separately specify the owners for the property.
In the ideal case, we would have access control lists for different owner/property combinations:
example:
owner 1 can see booking value for property A
owner 2 can block calendar for property A
owner 3 can do everything for Property Aowner 3 can only see booking value for Property B
owner 2 can do everything for property B.Owner 1 gets owner notifications for property B but not property A
so basically for each owner access item, we can decide which owner gets that item for each specific property.
in the ui when we are looking at the owner (from the owners page), we should be able to "select propertie"
the list of properties comes up with columns for each access control. we just check them off and click apply.
Similarly, perhaps from the property owner view, we get a list of owners with the same checkboxes (filter like we get with the other property or reviews pages)

Also need to be able to edit owners..
we can't change their email or phone number.. it's silly.Keith supported this idea ·

I did request this some time ago. I think there may be a duplicate of this ill look .
But my example was we need to send reminders for guests to take the trash out. Or remind them of street sweeping and other day specific parking restrictions .
Or that the gardener is coming on Tuesday Etc.

The order should be the same. Hostfully should add section headings so the listing makes sense but not adding those fields is not useful as we have no other place to put that information .
I see a few possible solutions:
1) given airbnb now limits field lengths there should be an option to have longer fields for platforms that support longer
2) optionally allow separate content for other platforms (presumably most have just one field. So we would have the separate airbnb fields and then on “long listing content” field that would get sent to all other platformsNot ideal as we have to manually insure content updated happen in multiple locations.
3) platform chdckboses for each field so we can decide which field content gets sunced to which platform

Here's how to setup payment methods for vebo
I've yet to figure out how to turn off the “pay now” option but I think there is a way to do that
For now we check each payment on stripe to see if it has 3d secure. If not we verify the is provided by the guest and do some investigating. Not ideal but so far effective in avoiding chargeback

I had the same issue. I did a lot of investigating .
The only way to do this in a way that's compliant is to disable passthrough payments and collect the payment directly from the guest
As it is, when VRBO or booking passes a reservation they send along the credit card data which gets sent to stripe
Because the authenticity of the customer entered data is lost (entered on vrbo but processed by Hostfully) it no longer carries the liability shift.
In order to be compliant the guest has to enter their card info onnhostgully so that the merchant bank can do their verification (sometimes requiring the cardholder to log in or provide two-factor authentication or something else that assures the card information is being used by the authorized cardholder)
I don't believe any form of passthrough processing would ever comply
This does add friction to the booking process as guests would have to know to watch for an email from us with a payment link and have to enter their card data yet again
Ultimately, though, this protects both the card holder and the pm. So it's a workflow we are implementing.
We won't accept any payments that do not have liability shift.

For Airbnb ideally the Airbnb anonymized email would move to the secondary email slot and the preferred guest email n the primary slot so it's used for future automated (and manual) messaging.

You can delete scheduled messages for any booking.
How would one determine before booking which bookings do or don't need an automated message?
I can see this might be possible for a manually entered booking. But I would guess the use case is pretty limited

You can use the raw HTML edit mode and use HTML tags to set the font. This is what we do. It isn't ideal.
On the template editor click [</>] and it will show the raw HTML
If you have some other HTML editor you can create things the way you wish with the first you decide then copy and paste that HTML in here
To see it live click the same button to toggle back to display mode
Ideally hostfully could just integrate tinymce which is my go to text area editor. Would probably take less than a day of engineering time

I'm not sure what kind of checklist you are seeking .
We have cleaning and inspection checklists and innoersonnchdckin things. We use the integrated software for these (open to teams)
I'm curious what checklist you need/follow that would be needed for the pms/booking engine side
Most of our tasks are automated (send check in instructions. Collect payment, etc.)

it seems, for some of these, they have now limited the number of characters you can type, but this isn't the same thing, and it doesn't help us understand how many characters we have to remove to determine how we can adjust an existing description.
