Automatically cancel the reservation when payment fails
Currently when payment fails for insufficient funds the booking goes into our calendar and blocks the dates preventing anyone else from booking. In VRBO it looks like a valid reservation. It isn't obvious to the guests or to us that there is a problem with payment so the conversation with the guest continues as usual and check in details are provided. Until I see a vague email from Hostfully saying that a payment failed. It doesn't identify the reservation. Just that a payment failed. If I hadn't been checking my email I wouldn't know. Rental agreement should be automatically updated when a reservation is modified
When a reservation is modified to new check-in and check-out dates, guests will receive a balance request, pay via the payment link and need to sign again. When it is completed, we expect the rental condition will have the following information correctly:
1/ New check-in and check-out dates
2/ New total of nights
3/ Signature from the last transaction made from payment link37 votes -
Trigger for when additional nights are available before a guest checks out.
We are looking to send messages to our current guests when there are additional nights available at the property they are staying at. In order to automate this process we would need a trigger that sends the message 1 day before check out if the property is available for the guest to extend their stay.

Modification of scheduled messages
On the "Scheduled Messages" tab, we should be able to modify a message that is scheduled for a guest. For example, If I have a guest pay for an early check in, I should be able to modify their scheduled messages to show their new real check in time. Right now the only option is to delete a scheduled message and then we have to remember to go in and send it manually at the time it would have normally been sent.

Convert block to hold or booking
Many times I do a quick BLOCK on a set of dates for someone off-channel who wants to stay to no one can book it.
Once we work out the details, I want to go from the block to a HOLD or BOOKING.

Require government ID for all guests in a booking party.
Create a way for all guests in the part to upload a picture of their ID. Some places require this. It would be great if the pre-arrival form could have that option to upload each guest ID.

Incrementally Change Price and Minimum Stay
I love the idea of being able to edit prices and minimum stay from calendar central. What would make this even better and take it to the next level as far as being really helpful in managing prices would be to allow us to adjust prices (and possible minimum stays) by an increment.
For example, if I haven't been getting bookings and I want to drop my prices by $20 / night for the following month, the only way I can do that is pretty time consuming. But if I could select the whole month and then increase/decrease prices by…

Show distinct service providers on stacked calendar
I would like to edit the blue bubble for the provider and change the color like i want. When we watch the calendar we can see rapidly who is working.
Or, when we pass the arrow on the bubble we see '' 1 job'', I would like to see the name of the provider.

Default messaging channel to how a guest initiated communication
Currently, when a guest sends a message via SMS, you can respond, but have to change the default to SMS from email. The default is always email for direct bookings. It would be nice to have the default be however the guest initiated conversing.

Get a notification when an Airbnb guest needs to alter their reservation.
When a guest requests to alter their Airbnb stay, the notification only goes through Airbnb. I'm a co-host and have several other Airbnb accounts connected to my Hostfully account. When guests request an alteration, I don’t get any notification of that.
I would like for Hostfully to provide notification for me so I can approve/decline Airbnb guests for an altered stay.

Trigger for not completing payment or pre-arrival forms
It would be great to have complex trigger options for "not" completing pre-arrival form or rental agreement.
Also to have the actions "not" sending check-in instructions if they don't complete them.
I have a hard time remembering to constantly check my pipeline to see if people haven't paid. It would be nice to know there was a safety net in place in case I don't catch it. And if you dont send them their check-in instructions, they will most definitely give you what you need.

Add all Pipeline features/information to the View/Edit Lead Modal
For a UX perspective, the calendar view is the most likely to be used when managing a large number of properties. The reservation card that is accessible from the calendar should include every available function and piece of information pertain the the guests visit.
This card should include the Pre-arrival form info, the payment status, any deposits made, remaining balance, scheduled payments, scheduled messages, etcetera.
At present, there are a number of features that are only accessible from the Pipeline. (i.e. cancelling a reservation, marking a reservation as paid, viewing the pre-arrival form, and recording a payment).

Add a date range option to the Pipeline
With 44 listings and 300-500 checkins per month, the Pipeline is nearly useless for managing bookings. It loads very slowly, and after about 50 bookings, glitched and runs off the end of the screen (see image).
There are many settings (i.e canceling a reservation, marking a reservation a paid, and adding a manual payment) that are only accessible via the Pipeline.
Without the ability to select a range of dates to display, it is nearly impossible to access these settings for reservations more than a week out from check-in.

Collect Security Deposit from Airbnb guests
Although VRBO already allows for security deposit collection, having something as well for Airbnb guests would be ideal! Automating a message 1-2 weeks prior to check-in, with a link to an invoice with deposit amount would be sufficient.
It would be up to hosts to communicate properly with guests to set expectations that this invoice will be coming prior to their arrival.

Set fees globally in bulk
Many fees are the same for every property, or for large groups of properties. It's a huge pain to have to add every fee to each property individually. There should be an option to set defaults globally and then override them at the property level.
