  1. At the moment, Hostfully Inbox doesn't separate the guest thread per booking: it remains a continuous history of messages between guest and agency no matter how many bookings the guest has with your properties.

    I want only corresponding messages associated with a booking to show up when selecting a booking on the right "booking selector" of Inbox.

  2. As PM with no access to the main host account but only the co-host account to send messages from the Airbnb app, I'd like these messages to show up in Hostfully Inbox as well

    It occurs that many PMs don't have access to the main host account (it belongs to the owner for example). So they communicate and manage reservations as a co-host.

    If Hostfully Inbox doesn't import co-host's messages, I'll need to go back and forth between Hostfully Inbox and Airbnb messages which is time-consuming.

  3. As an agency, you can choose to opt-out of lead assignments.
    With this option, leads will never be assigned to anyone, and any PM (with the right property permission) will be able to manage leads at any time.

  4. Currently I can communicate with Vrbo guests via email in the Hostfully Inbox. Here's how I do that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzrIBhiitBY&t=4s.

    Also, it's great that when the guest sends me a message in a booking request through Vrbo, then that message appears in the Hostfully Lead/Stay Details.

    There are a couple of scenarios where I would appreciate a deeper integration with Vrbo's messaging. For example, if the guest sends me a message through the Vrbo guest portal, then it doesn't come into the Hostfully inbox and I can only reply through my email.   5. I looked for phone apps to help me and there are absolutely none that are simple and clear like yours.
    And since i use yours on my desktop i would love t to continue with you. Have it all sinked. Especially that I am not often
    in front of my desktop. But more with my phone. Definitely looking forward to having it!!!

  7. The drag and re-order is too tedious, especially when you just got all new photos for your listing and need to delete all these old ones and reorder 50 new ones.

    I think that there should be a toggle between the current view and a thumbnail view that puts the photos in a grid (maybe 4-5 across and then they are in rows going down) without the photo comments in this thumbnail view. That way we can reorder the photos quickly and see better what overall the order looks like to guests, and then when we are ready to add…

  8. Now that Airbnb and VRBO both have restrictions on the number of characters for Public Name and Long Description, it would be extremely helpful and more streamline to make those adjustments. Instead I'll have to copy and past into a word doc and the paste back into. It's kinda clumsy and time consuming as I have 20+ properties to adjust. Unless I am missing it somewhere. :)

  9. Owners often want to know financial information about bookings on demand. I am requesting an additional toggle on/off setting in the Owner tab of the Property page so agencies can choose whether this information shows on the Owners Portal calendar or not.

  11. We're noticed a flaw in the way Hostfully handles modification of an existing booking that we'd like to see corrected as it has the potential to overcharge guests.

    Essentially, when you make a change to an existing booking (adding guests, or adding nights), if the price of the lodging has changed since the guest booked, Hostfully applies the new price to their entire stay, rather than simply applying any new charges.

    For example:

    Let's say a party of four books three nights in on of our lodgings at a rate of $100/night.

We’d love to see a feature added to the new Service Provider Hub that allows service providers (like cleaners, handymen, etc.) to view a read-only booking calendar showing check-in/check-out dates and guest count, without revealing guest names, contact info, or pricing. With the new app they are only able to view dots for assigned jobs and can no longer see all bookings. ( I put new view and old view screenshots below)

  13. Right now Airbnb messages are coming in sometimes when a property manager imports a property from Airbnb, even if they have not turned that property to “on” in the Airbnb channel.

    Another case is that, when a PM connects to an Airbnb account but only imports and manages one, not all, listings in that account. Nevertheless, Airbnb messages from other listings not managed by them show up in Inbox without property and reservation details.

    We would like for Airbnb messages to only start appearing in the Inbox when the property managers goes to Channels / Airbnb and turns “on” that…

    This has been completed. Now Airbnb messages only come in to the Hostfully inbox once the property is live and connected through Hostfully. Not during the initial property data import.

  14. At the moment, for BDC channel, Hostfully does not yet support multiple transactions on a single order and only receive the first reservation via API.

    We enquire Hostfully to work with booking.com to resolve the tech issue moving forwards. You note that it’s rare but we’ve already had about 3 of these bookings in a short period of time. If 2 suites are booked with booking - then it should automatically show on the calendar, without having to manually blocking out the calendar or raising separate cleaning jobs.

    Now you can manage group reservations from Booking.com in Hostfully, in both the web platform and the mobile app 🤩

    When a Booking.com guest books multiple rooms in one reservation, you'll receive a group booking in Hostfully. Each selected room within the group reservation becomes a "sub-booking" with its own details.     We are working on adding more Pipeline actions for group bookings. Currently, if you want to make changes or cancel a group booking, you'll need to do that directly in the Booking.com Extranet.

  15. When you are in the calendar you could cancel a booking rather than having to leave the calendar and go find the listing in the pipeline- which is an unnecessary extra step; this would streamline workflow.

    And it would be so much faster and easier, less opportunities for mistakes.

    Great news: Pipeline actions are now available in the reservation modal!

    This means, whether you're on the Dashboard, Calendar, Inbox, or elsewhere, if the reservation modal is open, your Pipeline actions (e.g., record payments, send payment request, cancel a booking, etc.) are right there with you.

  16. I would LOVE a stacked calendar that shows not only the availability, but also the rate and minimum stay. It would be so useful and time efficient for me to have all my properties in one screen with availability, rate and minimum stay. If I could also edit the rate and minimum stay from there it would be wonderful. If not, at least I would like to be able to see all this info in one screen.

  17. System templates are sent automatically to our Booking.com guests but some of them are irrelevant to our business or sent when they are not needed.
    When a guest has paid via Booking.com virtual card, Hostfully has seen this as unpaid and sent the guest a payment link. The guest then paid twice. We then lost money refunding him.
    Its also wasting our time trying to reassure people that they don't owe money or that we aren't trying to con them.

    We need to have more control over these and should be able to turn off the automatic feature.

    This feature has now be deployed to production. Users can now turn off the messages automatically sent by the systems using a toggle control on the System Templates page.


    Note that templates which do not show a toggle button do not get sent automatically, but are templates for messages sent by property managers.

  18. Many fees are the same for every property, or for large groups of properties. It's a huge pain to have to add every fee to each property individually. There should be an option to set defaults globally and then override them at the property level.

  19. Sometimes Cleaner 1 is not available to clean Unit A. When I look at Unit A's calendar for "June", I want to be able to assign some of the cleans to Cleaner 1 and some assigned to Cleaner 2. I don't believe this is possible.

  20. Currently, the inbox lumps together messages sent to the same email address. For guests with multiple bookings, particularly multiple bookings on different dates, this causes variable information to be unpredictable when the guests name is selected from the left hand sidebar in the inbox.

    For instance:

    John Smith made an inquiry on property A, and a quote is opened. He receives some automated communication about Property A that pulls in variables from Property A's listing .

    John Smith then changes his mind and books property B.

    John Smith receives our automated confirmation email for property B, which pulls in variables…
