  1. When you are in the calendar you could cancel a booking rather than having to leave the calendar and go find the listing in the pipeline- which is an unnecessary extra step; this would streamline workflow.

    And it would be so much faster and easier, less opportunities for mistakes.

    We'll soon introduce all pipeline actions directly within the lead modal. So you'll be able to cancel a booking by clicking on it from the calendar, then selecting the Cancel action within the lead modal.

  3. Currently when payment fails for insufficient funds the booking goes into our calendar and blocks the dates preventing anyone else from booking. In VRBO it looks like a valid reservation. It isn't obvious to the guests or to us that there is a problem with payment so the conversation with the guest continues as usual and check in details are provided. Until I see a vague email from Hostfully saying that a payment failed. It doesn't identify the reservation. Just that a payment failed. If I hadn't been checking my email I wouldn't know. Quite often the email gets lost…

  4. When a reservation is modified to new check-in and check-out dates, guests will receive a balance request, pay via the payment link and need to sign again. When it is completed, we expect the rental condition will have the following information correctly:

    1/ New check-in and check-out dates
    2/ New total of nights
    3/ Signature from the last transaction made from payment link

  8. It appears that captions don't appear on direct booking site when viewing photos.
    I’d think it’d be good if they were displayed somewhere.
    They have relevant and important information.
    It'd be great if captions can be shown there.

    % comparison will be added to the Analytics page (and on Dashboard page for the default current month selection, comparing to previous month there).

    First we'll add a default comparison of current period vs previous period. So you will select this year and we'll show % comparison of this years data against last year. 

    Then we'll offer a comparison option for "same period last year". So you'll select "this month" for instance and we'll show % comparison with same month last year.

  11. Currently, both Bathtub and Jacuzzi in Hostfully are mapped with Bathtub on Airbnb (since Airbnb doesn't have Jacuzzi on their UI). Thus, if we import a listing with bathtub from Airbnb to Hostfully, both amenities will be checked in Hostfully.

    I want only bathtub amenity to be checked. Bathtub isn't the same as jacuzzi. Jacuzzi is a unit with the jet & bathtub is only a unit for bath only.

  12. My booking widget is attached to different websites. I want to know which website the booking has come from (where the booking calendar widget is) so I can provide different commission rates to different websites.

    At the moment, the website source is only visible when leads arrive to dashboard page, it's hard for us to check how many bookings are there.

  13. We do not allow Saturday check ins and we are trying to use the booking widget - However, it looks like our Saturdays are blocked off of our calendar, which will be a deterrent to guests from even trying to book.

    It’s not about the ability to block certain days, but on how it’s displayed on the booking widget to avoid the misconception that the days are “booked” already.

    For example. on Airbnb booking widget UI,

    • Strikestrough days=booked,
    • Greyed out= unavailable from host,
    • Bold black= available

    In Hostfully widget, all unavailable dates are greyed out, regardless of the reasons (booked,…

  18. Many times I do a quick BLOCK on a set of dates for someone off-channel who wants to stay to no one can book it.
    Once we work out the details, I want to go from the block to a HOLD or BOOKING.
    But it won't convert. So - I have to cancel the block, and am nervous during that few mins that someone could block a date on a channel and mess up the booking!

    Simple fix would be to allow to covert a Block to hold or booking, so it never goes unavailable for someone to grab while…

  19. Ability to add Custom Rules from VRBO. There is a Custom Rules Section in VRBO and we can put it there but Hostfully overrides that. We want a way for the Custom Rules not to be overridden by Hostfully in VRBO.
