  1. My Guests usually encounter an error when they click on the link to view their reservation details. As it turns out, it's because they haven't claimed their Hostfully account (to log in to the Guest Portal).

    As a guest, I should be able to register for guest portal access from the Booking Payment Confirmed email template if iI don’t have an account already so that I can access the link to view the reservation details.

  3. So we can now view the price and minimum stay per night in the new calendar beta. Great! But can we edit it for one or multiple properties at once?

  7. Although VRBO already allows for security deposit collection, having something as well for Airbnb guests would be ideal! Automating a message 1-2 weeks prior to check-in, with a link to an invoice with deposit amount would be sufficient.

    It would be up to hosts to communicate properly with guests to set expectations that this invoice will be coming prior to their arrival.

  9. The first issue I have is with the date range on the owner statement report. I found out it is based on check in not check out date, which is the industry standard for property management. This needs to be fixed. When I choose 4/1 to 4/30, it should be guests that checked out between those dates. This is how the owners are paid for the month, based on check outs.

  10. The owner portal does not color code the calendar to show which booking platform was used. Please make the owner calendar color coded as well so our owners can see which platforms the bookings are coming in from.

  11. Currently the calendar is limited to 6 months in the past and 15 months in the future.
    I would like to expand the future to at least 2 years, if not indefinitely.

  12. If you open a guest (the most common use case being that you need to contact the guest, you have to scroll down for the guest's information. I think it would be more helpful to prioritize this information, rather than having to scroll past all of the fees (which should also be minimized). Also, the phone number is not clickable, nor can you copy and paste it. Making the number clickable and copiable (not sure if that's a word), would be really useful. Otherwise, it's not very useful at all.

    This feedback applies to the Hostfully iOS app.

  13. The new calendar view is Monday first, then Sunday last. But it's always been Sunday first, Saturday last. When drilling into reservation details, it's also Sunday first. Please adjust to be consistent and stick with Sunday first. It's very confusing.

  14. It would be nice to be able to edit calendar settings (ie: no check in allowed, nightly minimums, etc) in the central calendar. Currently, you have to go into the property level and edit that information on pricing. But it's really cumbersome when you have to do it that way when you're trying to make adjustments on multiple properties frequently. We do this during big holiday seasons as we fill up, we have to block check ins/outs on certain days to help stack the calendar for our turnover crews.

  15. Currently, when my clients view the booking calendar for their short-term rental, there is no option for them to see the owner payout per booking by hovering or clicking on the reservation. This information is crucial for my clients as they want to see what they are making on each booking/weekend, etc.

    I would like to propose adding a toggle option for the price per booking view in the Owners Dashboard Calendar. This option could be located in the "Owner" tab / settings area, similar to the existing "Show guest information to owners" checkbox. Additionally, it would be helpful if…

  16. When you run a report, the quick options for dates are "Last week" or "This week". I never use those. By far the dates I'm using most frequently are for "Last Month", so I would like to see that as an option.

  17. It would be so wonderful to have the option for an automated response to inquiries. I came from Hospitality.com and REALLY got used to my inquires having an automatic response from me and not having to stress about that response time. I'm desperately missing that feature and hope it can be added to Hostfully in the near future. Thank you!

  18. I love the new enhanced reports. I created a report that would allow me to quickly build a Hotel Tax Report. We collect for VRBO and Direct bookings so we have to remit, but Airbnb and Booking.com collect and remit. Would be nice to filter those channels out of the reports. Would be helpful in other reports that are channel specific as well. Thanks!

  19. The new calendar is great. Thank you.

    It would be helpful to remember the filter conditions when we return to the calendar enquiry. As it stands all conditions are dropped and we have to continualy re-enter them. We do a lot of work from within the calendar area and it would help to preserve the set of properties we are working on rather than lose them every time we return to the stacked calendar view.

  20. Let's optimize the calendar page layout by killing the dead space at the top.
    For that we'll do the following:
    - remove the h1 title
    - move the filter icon
    - move up calendar to the top below the nav
    - have the horizontal scrollbar coincide with the bottom of the browser
