  1. So we can now view the price and minimum stay per night in the new calendar beta. Great! But can we edit it for one or multiple properties at once?

    YES! This is coming in our 2nd version of the new Central Calendar !

  2. My Guests usually encounter an error when they click on the link to view their reservation details. As it turns out, it's because they haven't claimed their Hostfully account (to log in to the Guest Portal).

    As a guest, I should be able to register for guest portal access from the Booking Payment Confirmed email template if iI don’t have an account already so that I can access the link to view the reservation details.

  3. Currently when a new inquiry comes into my Dashboard, I click on the assign to me button and I get redirected to the Pipeline where I can take a follow up action
    Or, if it's a new booking request, I click on the 'review' button and I get redirected to the Inbox where I can pre-approve / approve / decline. This is not very consistent in terms of userflow.
    As a PM, I need to process new leads more efficiently: review/assign/take action, all this without leaving the dashboard page and optionally applying actions in bulk.

  4. It would be nice to be able to edit calendar settings (ie: no check in allowed, nightly minimums, etc) in the central calendar. Currently, you have to go into the property level and edit that information on pricing. But it's really cumbersome when you have to do it that way when you're trying to make adjustments on multiple properties frequently. We do this during big holiday seasons as we fill up, we have to block check ins/outs on certain days to help stack the calendar for our turnover crews.

It would be so useful if we could access the pipeline and do the actions allowed in the pipeline from the mobile app. It basically only allows you to view things, very little action can take place. I found it interesting that you make it so we can cancel a reservation but not update, request payment or any of the things that we do regularly. Cancelling is the last action we want to take.

  10. When a reservation is modified to new check-in and check-out dates, guests will receive a balance request, pay via the payment link and need to sign again. When it is completed, we expect the rental condition will have the following information correctly:

    1/ New check-in and check-out dates
    2/ New total of nights
    3/ Signature from the last transaction made from payment link

  11. Many times I do a quick BLOCK on a set of dates for someone off-channel who wants to stay to no one can book it.
    Once we work out the details, I want to go from the block to a HOLD or BOOKING.
    But it won't convert. So - I have to cancel the block, and am nervous during that few mins that someone could block a date on a channel and mess up the booking!

    Simple fix would be to allow to covert a Block to hold or booking, so it never goes unavailable for someone to grab while…

  14. Currently the calendar is limited to 6 months in the past and 15 months in the future.
    I would like to expand the future to at least 2 years, if not indefinitely.

  15. Although VRBO already allows for security deposit collection, having something as well for Airbnb guests would be ideal! Automating a message 1-2 weeks prior to check-in, with a link to an invoice with deposit amount would be sufficient.

    It would be up to hosts to communicate properly with guests to set expectations that this invoice will be coming prior to their arrival.

  16. Booking.com reservation commission should be imported & there should be a field for this in the Enhanced Reporting just like Airbnb Host Service Fee. Sometimes I choose to pay more commission so that BDC boosts my ranking on specific dates. This makes it hard for me to show the correct Booking.com reservation commission in the Enhanced Reports.

  18. The new calendar is great. Thank you.

    It would be helpful to remember the filter conditions when we return to the calendar enquiry. As it stands all conditions are dropped and we have to continualy re-enter them. We do a lot of work from within the calendar area and it would help to preserve the set of properties we are working on rather than lose them every time we return to the stacked calendar view.

    Refunds do show in your reports for bookings that have been made via your default payment service provider. But indeed, they don't show for Airbnb bookings for instance.

    We are soon offering a new feature: Order Adjustments and manual transactions.

    This will allow you to manually add a refund that happened in an Airbnb booking for instance.

  20. Let's optimize the calendar page layout by killing the dead space at the top.
    For that we'll do the following:
    - remove the h1 title
    - move the filter icon
    - move up calendar to the top below the nav
    - have the horizontal scrollbar coincide with the bottom of the browser
