Report invalid credit card for Booking.com
As a property manager, upon receiving a Booking.com reservation, there are occasions when the credit card may fail to charge for various reasons. However, I face limitations in reporting an invalid card to request a new one from the guest or to request cancellation due to an invalid credit card. This limitation arises because I lack access to the credit card's CVC code, which is now transmitted via API and cannot be viewed on the Extranet anymore.
I'd like to ensure that when a reservation is received via Booking.com and the payment fails, the credit card details are reported immediately to prompt the guest to update their card. If there's no new credit card provided, I need the ability to cancel the reservation due to the invalid credit card.
