We are requesting the addition of a booking date variable in the system, specifically to insert the date of the first payment (i.e., the initial booking confirmation) into guest receipts and booking communications.

This date is not only important for guest records and travel insurance purposes but is also a requirement under the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) guidelines. TICO mandates that travel agencies provide accurate transaction documentation, including the date on which the booking or first payment was made.

Having this variable will allow us to automate compliance and maintain transparency with our guests while ensuring our receipts align with regulatory standards.

Please let us know if this can be implemented or if a temporary workaround is available.
