Airbnb / Default Language Issue - Auto Inquiry Responses
If a template is configured in multiple languages and a trigger is associated with it (intended to send a quick reply on Airbnb and VRBO whenever there is a booking request or an inquiry) the message is currently sent only in English.
The purpose of these quick replies is to maintain a high response rate on Airbnb. However, even though Hostfully allows configuration in multiple languages, the guest will always receive the message in English, regardless of the language they used to contact us.
This behavior does not make sense, as Hostfully should be able to identify the guest’s language at the inquiry stage. The information available on the dashboard is essentially the same for both inquiries and confirmed bookings, so there should be no limitation in detecting the guest’s preferred language earlier.
The fact that it is only possible to send automated responses in English at the inquiry stage undermines the usefulness of multilingual templates and negatively impacts the guest experience
