Re direct guest to add services after booking process
As we send welcome emails and templates to upcoming guests, we remind them that we provide add-on services as a luxury feature. They can add in an early check in, late check out or decide to bring their fur baby with them for a pet fee. If they want to skip lugging their baby gear with them on the trip, they can add on to reserve ours for their use. They can also add on a celebration package for special occasions or a s'mores bundle to enjoy, along with several other options. We send reminders to our guests before their check in date of all guidebook information, house information and any add on services they may have missed or may sound like fun or convenience to add now. This provides a much greater opportunity to increase revenue for the listing.
The problem - when we direct our guests to these services post booking, there is apparently no way for hosts to be notified. This poses a very large risk for something to be missed or unscheduled. Similar to the upsell at booking, when these add on services are purchased post booking, there should be a "service paid" email that goes out, just like it does in booking upsell.
