Enable any stripe account to be integrated with Marketplace upsell services
A category for hostfully guidebooks' marketplace needs to be added.
Marketplace payment transactions would best be integrated individually with selected stripe accounts (rather than defaulting to the two scenarios below ) , because upsell services may be related to service providers or simply not associated with the property's financial accounting.
Also reporting should include a feature for marketplace transactions.
Does anyone have any best practices and tips on how to best price and collect payments for upsell services in the marketplace? How to track and reconcile these purchases across all booking platforms and multiple stripe accounts?
Scenario 1: Guests purchase marketplace items when they are completing payment for direct/VRBO reservations. The payment of Marketplace items will be processed by the Stripe account associated with that property in PMP.
Scenario 2: Guests purchase Marketplace items directly from the guidebook (for Airbnb reservations). The agency Stripe account is used. That's the Stripe account connected when you first enabled Stripe from the Integration page in PMP.

I'm not sure how this would simplify your accounting. VRBO guests could also purchase Marketplace items directly and not as part of the initial payment workflow.
In either case, you'd still have to reconcile revenue that goes through one stripe account so having hostfully allow you to specify a separate account for some of these transactions doesn't eliminate or even reduce your accounting overhead.
That being said, if it's coded properly internally, I wouldn't imagine this is a difficult add.
