Overview

We would love the ability to use Property Tags as conditions within message triggers and automations in Hostfully PMS.

Currently, triggers can be filtered using conditions like:

* Property is
* Channel is
* Booking source
* Reservation details

However, for users managing large and diverse portfolios, maintaining property-specific trigger conditions becomes increasingly difficult as new listings are onboarded.

Proposed Feature

Add a trigger condition option such as:

* Tag is
* Tag is not
* Property contains tag

This would allow users to assign tags at the property level and use those tags dynamically within automated messaging triggers.

Example Use Cases

Short-Term vs Mid-Term Rentals

A user could:

* Tag properties as “Short-Term” or “Mid-Term”
* Create messaging automations specific to each rental type
* Automatically include newly onboarded properties simply by applying the correct tag

Pet-Friendly Properties

Users could:

* Tag listings “Pet Friendly”
* Send automated pet-related instructions, waivers, or fees only to applicable properties

Owner-Specific Messaging

Property managers with multiple owners could:

* Tag properties by owner name or ownership group
* Customize messaging flows, branding, or operational instructions accordingly

Operational Differences

Other potential use cases include:

* Luxury vs Standard properties
