Ability to Block Off Certain Dates Within the Promo Code Booking Window
Hostfully currently allows users to set a time frame for:
• When a promo code can be used (e.g., Jan 2025–Mar 2025)
•The booking date range the code applies to (e.g., Oct 2025–Feb 2026)However, there’s no way to exclude specific dates within the booking date range (e.g., high-demand holidays or event weekends). We’d love to see an enhancement that allows users to block off certain dates or date ranges from being bookable with the promo code, while keeping the rest of the range active.
Example Use Case:
A code allows bookings for stays between Oct 2025–Feb 2026, but the manager wants to exclude Christmas week and New Year’s Eve from being discounted. With this added flexibility, they could confidently run promotions without impacting peak revenue periods.Hannah Castillo supported this idea ·

Currently, when creating a promo code in Hostfully, users can choose to apply it to either one specific property or all properties in their account. We’d love to see this feature enhanced to allow users to select multiple individual properties, not just all or one. This would give users much more flexibility, especially for accounts that manage diverse property types or want to promote select listings.

Many of the original concerns leading to this request have been alleviated over the years.
Booking.com now offers payments by Booking.com and we'll be rolling out request to book with them this quarter.
Vrbo offers request to book as well.
If we get more votes on it, we may consider it in the future

It would be incredibly helpful to have the option to download all guest communication (messages sent via Hostfully Inbox) as a PDF. This feature is already available on platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo, and it’s essential when dealing with guest disputes or responding to payment processor claims (e.g., Stripe chargebacks).
Having a timestamped, easily shareable PDF of the conversation history helps property managers provide clear, documented evidence when needed, saving time and protecting both the business and the guest experience.
Please consider adding a “Download as PDF” button or similar export option in the Inbox!

We would like to add the frequency "quarterly" so we can send reports from the last quarter quarterly.

Hostfully offers a great upsell feature through Service Providers and the Direct Booking Flow, allowing property managers to promote add-ons like “Early Check-In” or “Late Check-Out” before or after a guest’s stay. When using the [$BOOK_SERVICES_URL$] variable in messaging, guests can select and purchase these upsells, which then appear on the lead and order views. This is a powerful tool for driving extra revenue and improving the guest experience.
The Gap:
Despite this functionality working well in the booking and messaging flow, there is currently no way to report on these upsell purchases. Even when creating custom formulas that match the exact service name (e.g., “Early Check-In”), the data does not pull into Hostfully’s reporting features.
Why This Matters:
Without visibility into which upsells are being booked, when, and how often, property managers are unable to:
• Track revenue generated from upsells
• Identify which add-ons are most popular
• Measure performance across properties or service types
•
Suggested Enhancement:
Enable reporting for Service Provider-based upsells, ideally by:
• Allowing users to generate reports that include upsell purchases. If a service is added in service providers, there should automatically be a field added to reporting to use. There would never be a situation where you are making a sale and do not want to report it. This would be easiest.
• Making service line items filterable or trackable in the Reports section
• Allowing custom formulas or fields that can successfully reference and aggregate upsell data
Example Use Case:
A manager wants to analyze how many guests purchased “Early Check-In” in Q1 across all properties. Today, there’s no reliable way to pull this data—even though it’s already on the lead. Enabling reporting for this would unlock the full value of this upsell feature.
