[Quickbook] Having an Option to add the receipt for the Partially paid reservations (like an initial deposit)
- Current behavior: That’s expected behavior with our QuickBooks Online integration: a Sales Receipt is created for a reservation only once the reservation is paid in full. Context: Partially paid reservations (like an initial deposit) won’t push to QuickBooks until the final payment is made, so you can be months between the deposit and the receipt showing up.
So the “issue” is that QuickBooks won’t reflect the deposit timing for reconciliation, even though Stripe deposits the money to your bank as payments happen.

If you need to reconcile deposits sooner, you’ll need to track those partial payments outside of the QuickBooks receipt flow (for example, by matching Stripe transactions to the booking using the guest name and booking UID shown in Stripe).
