  2. Hostfully has a number of options for guest to choose from, like bringing a pet, for an additional fee. I also have heating a pool as an option on HFY, but it is not showing up on VRBO. It should.

  3. A category for hostfully guidebooks' marketplace needs to be added.

    Marketplace payment transactions would best be integrated individually with selected stripe accounts (rather than defaulting to the two scenarios below ) , because upsell services may be related to service providers or simply not associated with the property's financial accounting.

    Also reporting should include a feature for marketplace transactions.

    Does anyone have any best practices and tips on how to best price and collect payments for upsell services in the marketplace? How to track and reconcile these purchases across all booking platforms and multiple stripe accounts?

  5. Waivo integration. Waivo is a damage protection product sold by a subsidiary of Loyds of London. It would be great if they could see which reservations paid for the damage protection and charge us behind the scenes for that. This is also a revenue generator for the hosts as we can over charge the damage waiver and collect the difference (guest pays $50 for a $30 damage waiver, host keeps the difference)

  8. I noticed that the zapier Updated Booking and Canceled Booking triggers work for owner block changes, but the New Booking doesn't trigger when a new owner block is created.

    Can you update the zapier integration to include owner blocks in the New Booking trigger?

  9. Rather than being a reservation system, it is a customer-centric system. If he has multiple stays from the same guest, the PM has the whole story around them linked to each stay. PM knows where guests stayed, how long, etc. eddie@mountainmamahomes.com

  11. We recently found out from our VRBO rep that the notes we enter into our amenities in Hostfully do not transfer over to VRBO. Also if we manually update our Amenities in VRBO to cover the ones Hostfully doesn't push through it is wiped next time the push is done.

  12. I use MailChimp and Hubspot. Hubspot is much more capable in my opinion, with better support, growing faster, more features and innovating much faster than MailChimp. Can you add Hubspot as an integration partner to save me the cost and trouble of having to Zap the interface between them?   13. Allow re-assigning a reservation to a different unit in Hostfully to reflect on the Operto Dashboard.

    Currently the reservation will remain on the unit initially booked and a new reservation won't be created on the new unit. So we have to "revoke access" for the reservation on Operto and create a manual reservation on the new unit to ensure the guest's code will be installed on that lock. We also have to communicate the new access code (created on the new unit) to your guest.

    Other PMS like Hostaway are able to push the reassignment to a new property to…

  15. TLDR; Automatically import user information entered via a secure guidebook link into the corresponding PMP lead.

    When booking through OTAs, emails are usually not included in the lead information that gets stored on Hostfully. Emails are collected, however, when guests sign into the guidebook via a secure link. That secure link is tied to a particular booking. It would be useful, and would make some sense, to be able to assign the information entered into the secure link login into the lead in the PMP.

  16. We urgently need calendars to be properly synced with Booking.com. At the moment booking.com doesn't take into account the 'no check in/outs allowed' for specific dates. This means we could get people checking in on Christmas day or New years eve, which we do not want.

  17. I'm using zapier to handle owner blocks that are created in Hostfully.
    Right now, if the owner blocks dates using click/drag function on the
    calendar to block dates, this triggers an update zap. However, if the owner blocks dates by clicking the "+ Block Dates" button at the top of their dashboard, it doesn't trigger any zaps. This is a serious oversight that adds lots of complications to our system. Can you fix this so the "+Block Dates" button also triggers a zap?

  18. I like how for the payment processors like stripe and paypal you can connect the client's specific account to the booking. I think the same should be done with quickbooks where you can connect a client's specific quickbooks to all of their transactions. So every time a client has a booking it is essentially automatically accounted for from any source whether it be a direct booking, airbnb, vrbo, or etc.

  19. Allow your Smart Thermostat to Turn Down/Off the HVAC when a guest checks out and Turn it back on before next guest arrives. This will save owners a ton of $ plus guests will be greeted with a proper temperature when arriving. It's also something good for the environment that saves energy! Why heat or cool a house when no one is there?

  20. Integration with Tidy App - even at their beginning stages they have been more involved and helpful than any other cleaning service I have tried. They flew in a trainer to train my team and have customized my entire experience. The only thing missing is an integration with Hostfully.
