  3. Although VRBO already allows for security deposit collection, having something as well for Airbnb guests would be ideal! Automating a message 1-2 weeks prior to check-in, with a link to an invoice with deposit amount would be sufficient.

    It would be up to hosts to communicate properly with guests to set expectations that this invoice will be coming prior to their arrival.

  4. When a job is scheduled, Service Provider/Cleaner gets email with option to View, Accept or Decline.
    Currently, only when the Accept option is chosen, will an email generate to give the PM get a notification.

    Can you please add a function so PM's receive an email when a Service Provider "Declines" a job ?
    Why? So PM's can assure the job is assigned or reassigned appropriately. When many properites & jobs scheduled, how do we check declined and unassigned jobs?

    Part 2: Can support add a function /section that displays "Declined and Unassigned jobs?

  8. Create a way for all guests in the part to upload a picture of their ID. Some places require this. It would be great if the pre-arrival form could have that option to upload each guest ID.

It takes me a very long time to go through the list of Amenities because it isn't alphabetized .... even if no one else wanted it that way, I would love the ability to be able to manage it so I can see it in a way that makes it much faster for me to go through ... also am very confused as to why the "Baby high chair" is listed under "indoor" amenities instead of under the "family" section.   11. Give Service Providers, specifically cleaners, the ability to report to the agency any issues with a previous guest and be able to provide pictures and estimates of remediation, within Hostfully, so that they are all linked, instead of having to do this outside Hostfully.

  12. Currently, users must navigate to individual property calendars and apply individual Check-in and Check-in restrictions for each year.

    However, check-in and check-out restrictions are often applied to holidays, so the need to restrict check-out on 12/25 occurs each year. Hostfully should have the ability to select specific dates (absent year) where check-in and check-out is not feasible. Moreover, specific days of a week/month would address holidays such as Thanksgiving.

  13. It would be great to be able to see the info on the app. If I'm on-site at our property without my computer then I have no way to view that info, so it would be nice to be able to!

  15. I want to apply a fee that calculates from the TOTAL (including taxes and security deposit) and not the subtotal.

    For example, we need to implement a 5% fee on direct bookings but the one we have now doesn't include taxes and the security deposit when it calculates the 5%.

  17. If owners can create recurring monthly/weekly expenses one time and those are added automatically to the monthly statement and reports for the owners (except when they are manually removed), it will cut down a lot of manual expense adding every month for owners and property managers.

  18. We do not allow Saturday check ins and we are trying to use the booking widget - However, it looks like our Saturdays are blocked off of our calendar, which will be a deterrent to guests from even trying to book.

    It’s not about the ability to block certain days, but on how it’s displayed on the booking widget to avoid the misconception that the days are “booked” already.

    For example. on Airbnb booking widget UI,

    • Strikestrough days=booked,
    • Greyed out= unavailable from host,
    • Bold black= available

  20. Using a channel manager has made things for difficult for me. I now have to handle security deposits, rejected payments, credit card fraud issues, collect- file - pay occupancy tax etc. All this was done by VRBO before I had a channel manager. Can you please get an arrangement with VRBO like you do with Airbnb that they will still provide those services even though we are using you.

    We are currently looking into this exact implementation where Vrbo will remain the merchant of record for connected PMs. Not that this work has a dependency on Vrbo and the APIs they are planning to provide in 2024 to support this.
