  1. A category for hostfully guidebooks' marketplace needs to be added.

    Marketplace payment transactions would best be integrated individually with selected stripe accounts (rather than defaulting to the two scenarios below ) , because upsell services may be related to service providers or simply not associated with the property's financial accounting.

    Also reporting should include a feature for marketplace transactions.

    Does anyone have any best practices and tips on how to best price and collect payments for upsell services in the marketplace? How to track and reconcile these purchases across all booking platforms and multiple stripe accounts?

  2. TLDR; Automatically import user information entered via a secure guidebook link into the corresponding PMP lead.

    When booking through OTAs, emails are usually not included in the lead information that gets stored on Hostfully. Emails are collected, however, when guests sign into the guidebook via a secure link. That secure link is tied to a particular booking. It would be useful, and would make some sense, to be able to assign the information entered into the secure link login into the lead in the PMP.

  3. Guesty has an integration with Aloware that seems like it would be really helpful. Guesty is only one of four integrations Aloware has, and since they've already integrated with one PMS, it would probably be relatively easy to integrate with another (i.e. Hostfully).

  4. Eliminate the need to manually report and pay for taxes collected through our merchant account through third party applications like Avalara Mylodge Tax. Please create an API with Avalara to report and pay for monthly State and local taxes. This functionality already exists with VRBO but it is not available if you're an integrated property.

  5. Waivo integration. Waivo is a damage protection product sold by a subsidiary of Loyds of London. It would be great if they could see which reservations paid for the damage protection and charge us behind the scenes for that. This is also a revenue generator for the hosts as we can over charge the damage waiver and collect the difference (guest pays $50 for a $30 damage waiver, host keeps the difference)

  8. I like how for the payment processors like stripe and paypal you can connect the client's specific account to the booking. I think the same should be done with quickbooks where you can connect a client's specific quickbooks to all of their transactions. So every time a client has a booking it is essentially automatically accounted for from any source whether it be a direct booking, airbnb, vrbo, or etc.

  11. Allow your Smart Thermostat to Turn Down/Off the HVAC when a guest checks out and Turn it back on before next guest arrives. This will save owners a ton of $ plus guests will be greeted with a proper temperature when arriving. It's also something good for the environment that saves energy! Why heat or cool a house when no one is there?

  12. I'm using zapier to handle owner blocks that are created in Hostfully.
    Right now, if the owner blocks dates using click/drag function on the
    calendar to block dates, this triggers an update zap. However, if the owner blocks dates by clicking the "+ Block Dates" button at the top of their dashboard, it doesn't trigger any zaps. This is a serious oversight that adds lots of complications to our system. Can you fix this so the "+Block Dates" button also triggers a zap?

  14. I noticed that the zapier Updated Booking and Canceled Booking triggers work for owner block changes, but the New Booking doesn't trigger when a new owner block is created.

    Can you update the zapier integration to include owner blocks in the New Booking trigger?

  16. Integration with Tidy App - even at their beginning stages they have been more involved and helpful than any other cleaning service I have tried. They flew in a trainer to train my team and have customized my entire experience. The only thing missing is an integration with Hostfully.

  17. More control over how the contract gets set up.

    Would like ability to determine the structure of the form:
    -where the contract gets signed
    -where the initials go
    -insert variables to make the contract more detailed

    When contesting a chargeback with a guest, you should be able to show them a contract with terms, and demonstrate that you’re actually due those funds (better success if initials are next to crucial terms).

  19. Autohost screens guests, and if a guest fails the verification and/or is high-risk, that information should be available in Hostfully. Then, that information could be used as a condition in message triggers, e.g. do not send messages if guest is unverified by AutoHost. I would also want to see that data available in the API so other integration partners (e.g. Akia) could use it as well.

  20. Rather than being a reservation system, it is a customer-centric system. If he has multiple stays from the same guest, the PM has the whole story around them linked to each stay. PM knows where guests stayed, how long, etc. eddie@mountainmamahomes.com
