  2. At the moment, for Vrbo bookings, when changing the email address, it generates a brand new thread without any past conversations, making it hard to track past information. We'd like to keep the old Vrbo thread on Hostfully inbox, even when the guest email was changed

  6. At the moment, [$TRANSACTIONAMOUNT$] and [$TRANSACTIONID$] only work in the system template "Transaction paid in full" automatically sent by the system. If I resend this template from Inbox or use these variables in custom templates, they won't populate.

  7. When sending texts along with a pic to an Airbnb guest, it shows an error "Internal server error". We'd have to contact support to find out it's not possible to send pics along with texts. It'd be easier for us to troubleshoot when there's a more detailed error messaging showing, as "Internal server error" might be confusing and cause some misunderstanding.

  8. It looks like we had an Airbnb message that may have errored because the word "google" was in the message and it was not yet a confirmed reservation. The error message would be more helpful if it describes what the problem is.

  9. We’d love to see a feature that provides insight into message response times within Hostfully. Specifically, we’re aiming to respond to 100% of guest messages within 5 minutes, and it would be incredibly helpful to track and measure this performance over time.

    Ideal functionality would include:
    • Average response time per message
    • Percentage of messages responded to within a user-defined time frame (e.g., 5 minutes)
    • Filterable data (by property, team member, time range, etc.)
    • Visual reporting or exportable data for tracking trends

  10. If I add a note to a guest's Lead Details there is no way to know if notes have been added. If there are any other significant messages or other information that needs to be highlighted there is no way to do it.
    Right now at shift change each person has to read every message and look for notes of every guest since their last shift.
    If we could turn on a star or color dot next to the guest's name in the left column an admin could quickly scroll down the list and see which guests need attention.

  13. When sending a custom template from the inbox, show the subject line of the custom template. Currently, when you send a custom template from the inbox, the received email subject line says, "You have a new message from (Agency Name)". It would be useful to maintain the actual subject line of the custom template.

  15. For example: IF the guest is not reachable by phone or if they missed the channel messages, we can ask the guest to submit their passport copies via whatsapp

    And we have a follow up message to ask if everything is fine after they check in so maybe guest can share some photos or videos if they have any problems

At the moment when a vrbo guest hits reply to any of my email messages sent through Hostfully and they attach images eg. of their driver's licence to send to me it is auto-filtered out and I can't see them. Then I have to ask them to compose a new email and resend which is a waste of time. If they try to upload their ID via the arrival form it only allows one upload so I usually only get the front or back and again have to ask them to send via email separately or to my phone. Would…

  18. It would be helpful to have the ability to add additional guests to the communication thread. Currently, only the primary guest receives messages, which means hosts must rely on them to relay information. Allowing multiple guests to be included would improve communication, reduce misunderstandings, and enhance the guest experience. This feature would be especially useful for group bookings or situations where multiple guests are involved in trip planning.

  20. When messages are edited in Airbnb only the original version shows in Hostfully. Syncing full edit history is a big ask, but showing the current version should be relatively easy from a product perspective, as long as the data is available from the Airbnb API
