Filter of the report
The first issue I have is with the date range on the owner statement report. I found out it is based on check in not check out date, which is the industry standard for property management. This needs to be fixed. When I choose 4/1 to 4/30, it should be guests that checked out between those dates. This is how the owners are paid for the month, based on check outs.
Forgot to update this ticket, but this was released in February 2023.
Now in Enhanced Reports, you can setup the date type filter where you can choose on what type of date you want your report to be based off: check-in date, check-out date, occupancy date, etc

This make total sense.
The owner report should be based on check-out date by default, not check-in date. We'll update that.
For sake of flexibility, we'll add a date filter in the edit view so you can update the date type the report is based of: checkin date, checkout date, reservation date, transaction date - this will be applied to owner reports, but to financial and fee reports as well. -

YES!!!! This is our problem also....we have been using Check Out date for years. Our date is even being imported into quickbooks based on Check Out date. We love the enhanced reports but they are not providing accurate details. We don't want to give money to owners until the stay is COMPLETE!!!!

Agreed. Owner payments should be calculated on completed stays, not projected, as a lot can change over the course of a guests stay and the final total isn't known until check out.
