Owner blocks should be recognized as a reservation
Right now owner blocks do not appear in Breezeway at all--the dates look like they are not being used by anyone. If Breezeway recognized owner blocks I could set up cleanings to automatically schedule after an owner stay, and my housekeepers would know they need to complete the cleaning prior to the owner arrival in a timely way.
It's because the owner blocks are just blocks, not reservations from which other integration software can pull the information.

Yes I would like the option to select "owner block" next to NEW/ON HOLD/BOOKED/BLOCKED when selecting dates in the calendar
super important differentiation in my reporting as well to review the percentage of owner use, blocked nights, sold nights, vacant.

I would also like to see this functionality. It's important to us to be able to distinguish an owner stay from a block, and to be able to trigger owner cleanings or set ups in Breezeway. At the most basic level, it would even help to visibly see the owner stay reflected on the Hostfully calendar.
I look forward to updates to this issue. Thanks for the work you all do!

Hi all. We would like to update you on the status of this ticket. On our new release today, we updated our API which adds an owner UID to a block if it is created from owners. This will help our partner to differentiate the normal blocks from the owner block.

When my owners block their calendar, the block does not push across my other integration softwares. I have to delete the block and create a booking for that owner.
I specifically have issues with VR Scheduler (operations planning) and Lynx (thermostat management).
VR Scheduler told me if the data came across as a booking rather than a block then they could read it as a reservation.

I agree. An owner's reservation should be completely different than a block. Block means it's not rentable so doesn't trigger departure. Owner reservation should be same as any reservation but without statement.

Agree. I have the same issue with VR Scheduler.

Integration partners read the owner holds as no different from other holds and not as reservations, which makes it impossible to trigger events that should happen automatically for owners stays, like scheduling a cleaning. I'm concerned with Breezeway now, but others will likely have the same issue. A partner like Operto, for example, might want to trigger the thermostat settings for an owner stay the same way they would for any other stay, but not for a generic hold.
