  1. So we can now view the price and minimum stay per night in the new calendar beta. Great! But can we edit it for one or multiple properties at once?

  2. We're noticed a flaw in the way Hostfully handles modification of an existing booking that we'd like to see corrected as it has the potential to overcharge guests.

    Essentially, when you make a change to an existing booking (adding guests, or adding nights), if the price of the lodging has changed since the guest booked, Hostfully applies the new price to their entire stay, rather than simply applying any new charges.

    For example:

    Let's say a party of four books three nights in on of our lodgings at a rate of $100/night.

    This is now available in our beta release.

    The stacked calendar + single property calendar on the owner portal have the same look & feel as the ones from the agency PMP.

    As a PM, you now have new permissions you can setup for each owner:

    - owner can view min stay + nighly rate

    - owner can view booking details (guest name, number of guests)

    - owner can view owner payout.

    The payout is calculated as is: base rent minus agency commission. It does not take into account any fee or taxes.

  4. Under "Guest Information. "Rebook this guest" does nothing but open a "new booking" window. One would assume that this button would create a new booking for the guest. That it would populate the information that was provided in the previous booking (with updated booking dates, property and guest count)... Fields are blank..

    See the attached images.. Not sure if this is a bug or a feature request..

  5. It would be nice to be able to edit calendar settings (ie: no check in allowed, nightly minimums, etc) in the central calendar. Currently, you have to go into the property level and edit that information on pricing. But it's really cumbersome when you have to do it that way when you're trying to make adjustments on multiple properties frequently. We do this during big holiday seasons as we fill up, we have to block check ins/outs on certain days to help stack the calendar for our turnover crews.

  6. Regarding the new Hostfully Central calendar, for the sub units, I would like for it to open with sub-units open the first time so i don’t have to load the page twice.

  7. Our front desk can look at the Hostfully calendar and easily see what units are vacant due to early check outs. It will be quite inconvenient to manually check each reservation to figure out which ones are really occupied.

  8. Currently when blocks are deleted, there is no record that they ever existed.

    This presents an issue if a block is removed erroneously, there is no way to recover the block, or see when the block was removed or by whom.

    Further, for active blocks, it is not possible to see who created a block, when the block was created, or if a block has been changed.

    What I'd like to see is:

    1) Blocks display what user created them and when.
    2) Blocks include a log of changes, that include the date of the change, what the change was,…

  9. Many times I do a quick BLOCK on a set of dates for someone off-channel who wants to stay to no one can book it.
    Once we work out the details, I want to go from the block to a HOLD or BOOKING.
    But it won't convert. So - I have to cancel the block, and am nervous during that few mins that someone could block a date on a channel and mess up the booking!

    Simple fix would be to allow to covert a Block to hold or booking, so it never goes unavailable for someone to grab while…

  10. Currently the calendar is limited to 6 months in the past and 15 months in the future.
    I would like to expand the future to at least 2 years, if not indefinitely.

  12. I would suggest an override button and an adjustment to how this process works.

    If I have a customer over the phone that wants to make a payment on an existing reservation and I need to adjust the financials, I should not have to change settings to save the lead. This increases the chance of us not collecting payment or providing great customer service.

    I can understand preventing us from changing dates due to overlap, but the whole reservation should not be locked.

    We should still be able to adjust names, contact info, add notes, adjust financials, etc.

  13. I often need to go into the property to make changes and it takes a while to navigate to the property page. I would like to be able to go straight there by clicking the respective property on the left of the calendar. I should also be able to open it in a new tab by holding the command key (currently it does not open in a new tab).

    Additionally, I often need the Airbnb page or hostfully page, so maybe these icons could be shown on the calendar page to the right of the property name?

  14. The new calendar is great. Thank you.

    It would be helpful to remember the filter conditions when we return to the calendar enquiry. As it stands all conditions are dropped and we have to continualy re-enter them. We do a lot of work from within the calendar area and it would help to preserve the set of properties we are working on rather than lose them every time we return to the stacked calendar view.

  15. We'd love to extend stacked calendar to more than 15 months.

    Today is April 5 2023, however, when I scroll into the future the calendar stops at June 25, 2024.

  16. When you are in the calendar you could cancel a booking rather than having to leave the calendar and go find the listing in the pipeline- which is an unnecessary extra step; this would streamline workflow.

    And it would be so much faster and easier, less opportunities for mistakes.

  17. Currently the process of changing the prices is very long -

    1. User notices unsold inventory on the calendar.
    2. Goes to Properties,
    3. searches and selects Property
    4. Goes to the Pricing tab.
    5. Selects dates
    6. Makes changes in the popup 'Select your daily Rate' and Saves

    It would be helpful if it was like Airbnb interface.

    Suggestion- Hostfully can create a TOGGLE on top of the calendar which switches the Calendar from 'Current Reservation Mode' to 'Pricing Mode', so dates can be selected and prices can be changed, right from the calendar.

  19. I have one master and 2 sub units.

    For the majority of the booking window, I only want the master to be bookable while keeping the two subs totally blocked. If the master hasn't been booked and we're under 2 weeks from the stay date, that is when I'll unblock the two subs and have those be bookable.

    Currently this needs to be done manually.

  20. We like to block a day after a long-term stay to give us the opprotunity to conduct a full, deep-clean and to address any issues and schedule maintenance.

    Having an "auto" block for each 30+ day stay allows this portion to be automated.
