  2. When I mapped the fees with "Air-conditioning fee" with Airbnb channel, it results in the error "This fee type cannot be defined as online fee."

    It's said that offline fees are not supported at the moment. I would like to map offline fees with Airbnb

  4. Add "Custom" cancellation policy as an option for VRBO. Custom cancellation policy would allow us to withhold payment processing fees for cancellations. Without this, we don't have a way to withhold payment processing fees and must refund them.

  5. The guest inquired on two listings, and our messages were sent to an incorrect thread on Airbnb (invalid bookings), yet not sent to the correct thread of booked one.
    It's said the inbox thread is defined between a host <> guest. I would like our messages sent to the correct thread on Airbnb. It's not practical to send out the messages to the thread whose listing is not even connected with Hostfully.

  7. I'd like to integrate directly with Expedia from Hostfully to ensure my properties are listed there and not be charged commission through channel partners.

    I understand some properties are distributed to Expedia if I am connected to Vrbo, though Vrbo can't guarantee that will happen and we can't request it. I can connect to Expedia through channel management partners, but they charge an extra commission. A direct connection would guarantee I am listed on that channel and save listings expenses.

  8. Currently, BDC commission is only tied to the transaction level and the transaction must be processed by a payment processor. This means that reservations paid through payment by booking.com (PBB) or outside of the Hostfully system and manually entered into PMP will not show the commission in the report. I am requesting that the BDC commission be based on the lead level, so that it is always present regardless of payment status or method.

At the moment, when there's a sync issue with channel (for example: Airbnb), the error message is not clear and I need to reach out to support every time to check the root cause (an error occurred, could not update booking settings, etc.). I want to have clearer messages so I know what to do to troubleshoot.

  11. I got this error when trying to create new BDC listings from Hostfully. The listings are in France:

    TPAExtensions/PropertyTaxInfo/PropertyRegisteredInVcs is mandatory for this location(#321) - TPAExtensions/PropertyTaxInfo/PropertyHasVat is mandatory for this location(#321) - TPA_Extensions/PropertyTaxInfo/PropertyDeclaresRevenue is mandatory for this location(#321)

    The option to Set Taxation is only visible for connected listing. Thus, to solve this, I have to create a hotel from BDC first before connecting it to Hostfully.

  12. Hostfully does not enable hosts to specify the number of pets allowed in property setting, but Airbnb does. As a result, Hostfully does not communicate the pet number to Airbnb, and Airbnb displays its default value of 5 on the listing.

    The property manager would like to be able to define the number of pets so that the information is accurate and does not mislead guests.

    At the moment, messages sent from PMP are always shown as they're from Airbnb owner account,.

  14. Following our article, the modification for Airbnb res would need to take action on Airbnb then the change would flow into Hostfully.

    However, initially, when the guest made the alteration request, the PM would not receive any notification from Hostfully but only receive the notification for Airbnb modification through Airbnb. The change was confirmed and reflected in HFL without any notification.

    I would like to have the notification for the modification request from Airbnb guests from Hostfully not only Airbnb.

  15. As I am in a municipal that Airbnb is the only registered platform with the city to accept any booking under 30 days, I still want the opportunity which I can list at other OTAs, but instead of that, I would need the option to list 30days+ in other OTAs.

  18. On Booking.com Extranet => Property => Facilities & Services, we can upload photos for the facilities we have in-house, which helps increase our listing score and get more bookings.

    However, this feature is not supported within Hostfully and can also be overridden by Hostfully. Every time we refresh the sync from Hostfully, all setups in the Extranet for Facilities and Services are wiped out.

    This is a critical issue, so supporting this feature would mean a lot. Thank you.
