  1. Currently, the only required information the guest needs to input when instantly booking via Hostfully is their name, email and dates. We need to collect mobile phone numbers, whether or not they're bringing a pet and would like to require a message from them about their stay.
    For instant booking on Airbnb, you can require the guest to answer your customized questions at booking. It would remove so much back and forth for me if I could customize what we capture from the guest at the time of booking.

  2. It would be really helpful to be able to select a timeframe for the discount - ie. Stay 7 nights and receive % discount.

    Also to be able to apply the discount to particular houses as not all our property owners like to offer discounts

  3. The price quoted in the email is deceptively high and would scare off guests since it is the total including the deposit and all fees. I would think that if they clicked on one of the properties in the email that it would show them a breakdown of how that figure was calculated. But it just takes them to the listing. Not a quote. ---Personally I'd prefer if this email would publish the nightly rate instead. Let the guests see all the fees and deposits later. This email should entice them, not scare them off.

  4. It seems I have been getting more fake inquiries from bots when I post our direct book link in social media posts. It would be nice if we could have an extra layer of protection from bots.

    1. Set the display order for services - It would be nice to be able to sort the order in which add on services are presented to the customer at checkout. Presently the order seems to mirror that of the order they are displayed in the "Edit Provider" backend, however, you cannot adjust the order (the are simply listed in the order created). You can see in the screenshot, in order to get the two "Pet crate Rentals" to show up together, I had to create a second instance of "Pet Crate 2 - Broader services view in the property settings…

  5. I'd like to be able to modify the Booking Confirmation web page (not message), in order to be able to add Google Tag Manager tracking to it, and pass booking details into the tracking code:

    Property Name
    Transaction ID
    Total Price
    Taxes
    Number of nights booked

  6. The direct booking site displays calendar dates that don't allow check-in (for specific listings) in a darker blue color. It does not explain (to the guest) that those dates are available. To the guest, they appear to be occupied, which may discourage them from booking a longer stay.
    Displaying that check-in/out is not allowed may encourage them to try for a longer stay, rather than gicing up on those dates (idea from Jaci Christian)

  7. Right now, applying a discount to an owner or agent originated booking/hold does not change the taxes due from the original total. I could discount any amount from the nightly rate and the taxes still reflect the original charge.

  10. On the website it only allows you to have 4 featured properties. The only thing that is bothering me with it is how it is displayed on the website. Its not 2 x 2 or 4 in one row. Its always 3 on top and 1 on bottom. It looks really unattractive on the website, there should be a way to fix that or add two more featured properties so it can be 3 x 3.

  11. It would be helpful if we can make the key color of the direct booking site customizable. This color would modify the Activate State of the Tabs (Calendar, Map, Reviews, etc), the book now, the calendar booked dates, the stars and subtext for reviews. These are all currently a green. Currently the Book now button on the widget is also more like a Cyan than the green used in other areas. All these colors should be consistent and ideally adjustable on the Direct Booking site settings. We can do this if we use widgets separately, but unable to customize within…

  12. When a lead is generated on our sites (due to no availability) they are currently not input into Hostfully, but instead just emailed. It would be helpful to have the option of having lead information stored in hostfully so that we don't have to manually add them if we find a date that works for them, Also a phone number is needed to be captured on the lead form too, as sometimes our emails to these leads go to spam and we need a way to follow up,

  15. When setting up code, have an option for days of the week all is the default. Have an option for x nights = lowest night free.

    These are the most shared ads I see on the internet, and I get from properties.

    Book X nights mid-week and get a free night or an % discount
    Book mid-week and get X % off

  16. There's a use case where a client may want to create individual web pages for each of their locations, and would want different search widgets for each web page.

    Each search widget would only show properties for that location. This could be achieved by using "tags" within the product to group properties.
