  1. big issue with the guests because whenever they make a direct reservation, the confirmation shows in big letters "Sign Up For A Free Hostfully Account Here".
    This confuses the guests and they have to clarify each time they don't actually need to register for any account since they are only booking a reservation.

  2. Being able to filter properties to specific websites. E.g. 1 website with the search widget only shows 5 out of 10 listings on that website, with another website showing the other 5 listings.

  3. I am interested in setting up a system where travel agencies and other external partners can earn a commission (for example, 3%) for referring guests directly to our properties managed through HostFully. This would be separate from any internal programs currently offered by HostFully.

  5. Model the direct booking checkout to be more like Airbnb. Allow pets to be entered on the first screen instead of after the fact as an upsell. Add a note under "book now" that indicates the guest won't be charged yet. Add a separate inquiry button so if the guest has a question they can be sure they are submitting it and will get a response. Currently with instant booking turned on, the host gets a notification every time someone clicks book now (but doesn't complete the reservation), but the guest is not aware of that and not expecting any…

  10. We used the “Additional Charge” feature, but on the checkout page, next to the security deposit it says (refundable). The security deposit is not actually included in the amount they pay upfront, so it is technically not “refundable.” Many guests contact us to ask when they will receive a refund of their security deposit and we have to explain to them that it was never paid, but is just an additional charge option we have after checkout if needed. Guests are often disappointed to realize this, thinking they were going to get $500 back of what they had already paid.

  11. As the logo is so small, if there's text in the logo, the text is often almost impossible to see. Also, it may help if there were a separate logo field to upload the logo image for the direct booking site on the direct booking website tab, instead of pulling it from the agency settings. That way, we could select a logo maybe without text .

  15. I would like for the Rental Conditions to always be visible on the direct booking website. Right now, it is only accessible during the check out flow when a guest is making a reservation. But I would like for it to always be visible, either in the direct booking site page itself, or as a url link that goes to another page that has it. Since I manage the Rental Conditions in Hostfully itself, I don't want to manage it / update it in a second place, too.

  16. Create a discount code that can be used once by any guest who receives it - for example, a ComeBack code that incentivizes a return, without it being available for every time that guest books in the future, and that I can offer to every guest (without having to create a million codes!)

  20. I would like to avoid showing the location of certain properties with too much accuracy until the booking is confirmed. Until the /search page was added there was no way to see exactly where the property was, but now you can zoom in very close on the search page and see exactly where the properties are, even sometimes which part of a multi-unit building the unit is.

    The map on the property details doesn't seem to have ever shown the exact location of the property, which seems like the right design if you're not going to make it configurable.
