  3. A guest is prompted to sign the rental agreement each time they make a payment. This is an awkward customer experience. And inaccurate, since the rental conditions could have changed since they first signed and we need to honor the original agreement. It doesn't look polished for us to keep presenting the rental agreement to them each time, acting like we don't know who they are.

    So if guest already signs rental agreement at initial payment, they don't have to sign it a again for balance.

  4. Create an option to blend the cleaning fee in the total price without showing it as a separate position to the guests.

    There has been a wave of criticism for high extra charges recently, but adding a cleaning fee that covers our costs independent of the length of stay is unavoidable. An option of making it part of the final price displayed to the guest would be great for those who want to adopt 'one price' policy.

  5. It would be nice if there was a drop down for payments received. Instead of only saying charge, maybe it should say Payment or Refund and an additional box that says "Payment Type" (Check/Check#, Credit Card, Other".

  6. I'm sure other STR users have this need. This is when you have guests cancel for legitimate reasons such as cancelling last minute for deaths in the family, hurricanes evacuation (or any storm related issues like snow storms, ice storms etc.) that warrant people getting money back but willing to accept a credit so both parties don't suffer. Or just good will on the host's end if someone needs to cancel without losing all their funds. This could be a partial credit, one night credit, cleaning fee credit etc. to use at another time. I would just need something that…

  7. There's the option to automatically refund security deposit. However, I don't charge deposits, I only authorized them in Stripe, so I don't need this feature.
    It would be relevant to have a tick box to use or not this feature. Right now we can only choose the delay for refund.

  8. It’s confusing to add additional fees after a total - that’s why it would be useful. All fees should be added - then a total - then taxes at one time. Not taxes on one item and then taxes on another total. It’s confusing. There should be one subtotal - taxes - and then one total.

    On the page where guest enters their credit card information, it says at the bottom: "To cancel your reservation please email {email} or call {phone number}. Can we please remove this? Don't think it's necessary to talk about cancellations before they even book.

    We can not display Stripe fees in the order details, because we do not have this information until the payment is made. The fees can be shows in the Enhanced Reports though, included in the processing fees for the booking.

  11. When running an owner report, the total reflects the entire cost of the reservation. When a guest stays for 2 or more months, Airbnb breaks up your payouts in 30 day increments. I would like to pay may owner's what I actually received for that month. If I pay the entire reservation and the guest cancels mid-stay, I would have to ask for money back from the owner. The Transaction History also accounts for guest resolutions. i.e. charges for damage or refunds for guest inconveniences.

  14. Change the wording on the payment link page from "You are about to secure your booking" to something else. The wording makes it sound like they aren't fully booked (even though they paid money at the time of booking), and could encourage cancellations.

  16. Most processors refund the processing fees when a cancellation occurs but Hostfully's does not and that results in hundreds of dollars a week lost because I have Hostfully. This is a 911 that needs to change now. We all should not have to work around this when if we went through Airbnb or VRBO's processor we would not incur theses fees.

Please create the option book within a specific period of time, from when the code was sent. i.e. when a guest checks out, they can receive the greatest discount to book with 72 hours of their stay. This would stimulate return bookings. I have seen these offers work at the end of a conference or the like. The best time to book your next trip is while you are enjoying your current one.
